Quest order in Novigrad

Quest order in Novigrad

When you start Get Junior quest there are 7 main and 11 secondary critical path quest that you need to complete before you move to Skellige.
But its kinda messy which one you should take when.

So I have few questions.

Get Junior and Count Reuven's Treasure start at the same time. Can I finish CRT before moving to Get Junior or should I finish Get Junior first.

During get Junior I need to complete Gangs of Novigrad and Honor among Thieves without progressing further into story. Right?

After get junior is finished a quick Favor for radovid quest starts along with Redania's most wanted and Eye for an Eye. But online guide suggest you to hold off Redania's most wanted after Eye for an Eye and Deadly plot. Why? You can do Deadly plot much later and only after Triss quest.
And you cant start Triss quests before you free dandellion.

So you finish Novigrad quest either with roche quests and than Phillipa quest and some dandellion and Zoltan personal quests. You cannont leave Triss quests as your last ones.

Can someone set those quests in order or explain ideal order.

Get Junior
Count reuven's Treasure
Favor for Radovid
The Play's the Thing
A Poet Under Pressure

Eye for an Eye
A Deadly Plot
Redania's Most Wanted
A Matter od Life and Death
Now or Never

Thanks

This is more or less the order I went with:

1. Count Reuven's Treasure
2. Get Junior
3. A Matter of Life and Death
4. A Favor for Radovid
5. Eye for an Eye
6. Redania's Most Wanted
7. Now or Never
8. A Deadly Plot
9. The Play's the Thing
10. A Poet Under Pressure

Some notes:

Triss will disappear from Novigrad regardless of your choices after Now or Never and only return later in the game. She is involved in two side quests, Soldier Statuette (found during Zoltan's personal quest) and Nobleman Statuette (bought from the merchant in Gildorf) that award some exp and gold. Also during Redania's Most Wanted if you don't deliver the crystal to the Witch Hunters and speak to her before returning to Radovid she'll have some more dialogue. Also note that Zoltan's personal quest can only be done after A Poet Under Pressure.

Gangs of Novigrad will fail if you investigate all three locations in Get Junior before speaking to Cleaver. If you do speak to Cleaver and accept his offer but then don't speak to his dwarves in each location the quest will be marked as completed even though there's no reward for it. I don't know about Honor Among Thieves because I didn't free Rico but I wager you can deliver that quest anytime since it doesn't conflict with the other main quests.

I'd recommend this one to start with:
1. Count Reuven's Treasure
2. Get Junior
3. A Favor for Radovid
4. The Play's the Thing
5. A Poet Under Pressure
6. A Dangerous Game (Zoltan's Quest)
7. A Matter of Life and Death
After that, in whatever sequence you want. fishful's suggestion makes sense because of the dialogue options.

To me, this works from both a gameplay and story-telling perspective. With the exception of A Dangerous Game, the quests are prioritised in a way that would make sense for Geralt. Zoltan's Quest is there because it's good to have the statuette before you start A Matter of Life and Death. (And it's urgent/high priority for Zoltan even if not for Geralt).

Note to newbies coming late to the game like I did:

I stopped and restarted my initial play-through halfway through Velen because I had found Triss straight away after doing all the side-quests I could, then did all her quests to find out what happens to her and to see the relationship arc. I also made the mistake of hopping on every quest I picked up and doing at least part of them to see what they were about rather than completing the one I was on. Approaching the game that way really jumbled the story and reduces any immediacy you might have otherwise felt. You might even want to go as far as to avoid the exclamation points on your map until after completing your current quest.

This because while TW 3's story and quests aren't as tightly bound as in previous games and you have the freedom to go outside the progression, the story will seem stronger if you follow Dragonbird's suggested order and afterwards worry about anything outside the main quests (a challenge in their own right of deciding which main quest to do first).

Actually, for those reasons, it may be better to only begin A Matter of Life and Death after finding Philippa's crystal and the statuette from A Dangerous Game. Otherwise, it may not be possible to talk to Triss about those topics until after Blindingly Obvious. By the way, this is the order of major Novigrad quests according to how they are numbered internally by the game:
Act 1
q301: Pyres of Novigrad, Novigrad Dreaming
q302: Get Junior
q303: Count Reuven's Treasure
q304: Broken Flowers
q305: The Play's the Thing, A Poet Under Pressure
Act 2
q401: Ugly Baby

q308: Carnal Sins
q309: Now or Never
q402: The Isle of Mists
Act 3
q310: Final Preparations
q311: Through Time and Space
Of course, this does not entirely agree with the recommended levels of the quests (which were changed during the development of the game), but it is probably the order the writing of the quests originally assumed.

It bears mentioning that "A Favor For Radovid" is a quest that automatically starts at the conclusion of "Get Junior." After meeting with Radovid on his ship, that quest is completed. The quest that ought to be written in Dragonbird's suggested list is called "Redania's Most Wanted." It involves investigating Phillipa Eilhart's lair.
