Question about playability of two mods (for The Witcher 1), while combined.

Greetings.
I hope this is the right way and place to ask what I'm about to.

I'm about to start a new playthrough with The Witcher 1. I like realism, immersion, and lore faithfulness, so I want to play the game with Flash's Full Combat Rebalance mod. I also like difficulty, so I'm playing it in the "Witcher" difficulty mode of that mod (the harder), but I came across another mod, named Alchemy mod, from Adam 'fantasta' and I was thinking about combining both of them. I read in another post that those two mods are compatible.

Full Combat Rebalance: http://www.moddb.com/mods/full-combat-rebalance1
Alchemy mod: http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-witcher-alchemy-mod

My question is whether the FCR in the hardest difficulty and the Alchemy mod combined don't make the game so hard that it's impossible to finish it, because the FCR manual says that alchemy is more important with it, and Alchemy mod hardens the way of getting ingredients.

I hope I made myself clear, and that someone knows the answer.

I don't think I'd recommend the combination... oils and potions are quite important in FCR1.6, and you don't usually find yourself "swimming" in higher quality bases.

FCR is also so wide ranging that combining it with other game-play changing mods is not generally advisable, resulting in an undesired combination of FCR and vanilla mechanisms.

Strongly recommend FCR (never completed, often started in vanilla... while I have completed all play-throughs started in FCR (both W1 and W2AoK))
