Question about the ps4 version in regards to stutter...

I guess I must have posted this topic on the wrong board or something, because it was deleted in the main witcher 3 section, so I shall post it again here...

What do you guys believe causes the stutter issue that is on ps4? I thought originally all versions did this, however after watching the most recent digital foundry video, The hiccup that happens especially when traveling fast on horseback, like a split second stutter as the game tries to load everything, they say only happens on the ps4 version. Do you guys think this has something to do with the coding that Will eventually be patched out? Or is it because it's trying to run at 1080p?

PS3 used to have a lot of problems with stuttering in some games because of the HDD. Maybe this issue continue on PS4.
I hate the stutter that happen every time Roach walks slow, it's like the game stutter every time he gallop up.

One review video I watched mentioned that because it's cdpr first Sony console release and they are not that familiar with it's os software. They are already experienced working with direct x and Windows type os. I guess that does make a lot of sense. Its a slight annoyance, but it's nowhere near as bad as say assassin's creed unity, which was terrible on both consoles.

They won't patch it out i'm afraid. CDPR's inexperience with the hardware won't allow that.
The way more things get broken or removed with every patch should be an indication of that. I was completely okay with The Witcher's performance 1.03 and prior. Didn't have any stutter. My ps4's fans didn't go crazy like an airplane every time I use a Sign.

They removed a lot of small details for the performance to stay exactly the same...
The blood on Geralt when fighting was removed, slow-walking removed. There's a lot more micro-stutter than in previous versions. The shadow flicker is very bad now. In Novigrad the game "fades-out" every few seconds during convo's or even just walking around so it can load assets. The Swords and Dumplings quest was such a trudge because every time I talk to Hattori, every, single, sentence, the game "fades-out" to load shit...

Its funny that even after all the downgrades the game runs a lot worse than it did in 1.03 and prior for me :(

I watched a review video, and apparently the xone version does have the microstutter also, but less frequently then ps4. Could the lower frame rate and stutter be due to trying to render a game of this scope at 1080? Or is it just poor optimization of the console?

Edit: overall I still love the game. I know it's not perfect but for the most part it still runs pretty good on ps4. I do own both systems, a ps4 and xone, and I ended up getting the ps4 version because when the game first came out, I did some research and also digital foundry said it was a smoother experience on ps4. However the patches greatly improved the xone version, yet ps4 has remained the same. So now xone is smoother. The only thing that really bothers me is the micro stutter. And though it is on the other version, its not nearly as bad. However the above poster is right. I don't remember having the stutter prior to 1.05, and I don't think the xone did either. They changed something weird.
