Question: Does Geralt have a default steel and silver sword? (Immersion)

I want to use those swords for my 7th playthrough. They're mainly for immersion, those pre-rendered cutscenes with Geralt always threw me for a loop.

Geralt holding a different sword and all of a sudden bam he's holding another sword in the same cutscene. Watch the pre-rendered cutscene when Geralt rides off with Yennefer heading to Vizima to meet the Emperor I'll post the link below. I really like the alternative costumes but that first pre-rendered cutscene with Yen kind of breaks my immersion with this game. So I avoid them. I want to make a playthrough where Geralt and everyone else is as accurate as possible.

Watch @9:31. No changes in my playthrough but if you play the game with her alternative it'll be there clear as day. Unless something I'm unaware of has changed.

LOL seriously those 2 starting swords would do nothing against the wild hunt later in the game .

Would be cool if they could add the wolf school swords Geralt has in the covers and wallpapers. And vesemir's silver sword.
.

There is another scene when you sail to Skellige. Geralt puts his swords down and lies down to sleep. His swords in that cutscene are always different from the swords the player is actually using and his hair always shows the standard hair style, no matter what his actual hair looks like at this point.

I really don't understand why there are like 2-3 prerendered cutscenes in this game, which don't even look better than the ingame graphics. I mean, what is the point then?!? But the inconsistencies when it comes to swords, costumes and hairstyles are the worst thing here. Yennefers alternative costume at the beginning, for instance, makes no sense at all... since there is this prerendered scene showing her in her standard clothes.

These scenes have no understandable function, they shouldn't be prerendered!

I understand your point and I agree. But I don't really consider the cutscenes the most important, what is important is gameplay(graphics too of course) and content in my opinion. Like maybe being able to in fact use those swords we see in the cutscenes and on wallpapers. They are different from the Wolven Swords in-game. Which are awesome blades too btw, not complaining! Just asking :)
