Question - Info on earlier versions of the plot

I'm wondering if anyone knows about more information regarding what the plot was going to be like in the early demos from 2014. I'm chiefly referring to the 35 minute demo video released in Aug. 2014, where they show Geralt coming back from hunting the Griffin which, this time, was for Dijkstra, not the White Orchard Nilfgaard captain. Just curious if there's more information on what the plans for the early story were like back then, or if the shift happened before any details emerged.
