Question on changing difficulty

Hi,

I'm currently playing on Death March! difficulty. I was having a hard time on a quest, I died a lot of times. I decided to lower the difficulty just to see the difference it would make. Then I reloaded my Death March! save file, the one before lowering the difficulty, and continued my playthrough.
My question is : am I still eligible for the Death march trophy or do I need to start over again?

Thanks!

Since you reloaded your save and completed the difficult section without lowering difficulty, you should still be eligible for the Death March trophy.

Out of curiosity, can I ask you what section you found tough? I am also playing in Death March and at level 11 now.

Thanks, I hope you are right!

It was a part of ''family matters'':
When you need to escort the baron while he is holding the botchling, the second wave of enemies is 2 times 3 wraiths. I don't know why, but wraiths are always giving me a hard time in this game when there is more than one against me at the same time.

Haha! That was actually the first time I had to rethink my strats haha. That is a difficulty spike actually, but good ol Quen plus block (L2), while being aggressive was the answer. Tho, if I had Alt Yrden there, it would have made that a lot easier.

Try rolling away when the wraith teleports behind you. They always throw a fury of hits then. No point in blocking imo: roll when they teleport and strike back when they're done; sidestep when they throw their usual one-hit. Might be too late, but I hope this was somewhat useful?:s

You should be fine. Provided it's not bugged. AND WE KNOW THERE ARE NO BUGS, RIGHT. Giggle.

Guess it'll make end-game even more exciting!

Also, Wraiths suck. Suck so hard.

And thank you for using spoiler tags.

Yeah, rolling is important as they do 2 hits when they appear, and I thought it was obvious so didn't mention it. With block I meant, keep the block button held down for anytime when you are not rolling/doding to cover yourself from random hits. Exploding Quen, block, rolling and being aggressive was how I got through that.

If someone new is attempting that fight now, I recommend alternate Yrden.

Yeah, I'm not used to blocking/parrying in games so I tend to just dodge, dodge and dodge again! I really need to learn to block/parry I guess!
Thanks for your advice guys.

Also, I don't know when I will finish the game, but I will try to post here again to let you guys know if it worked for the trophy.
