Question regarding the Armor weight Runewords and School Techniques talent

In HoS you can enchant your armor to be regarded as a certain armor type, does this work with the School techniques talents because i don't notice any change in my dps after enchanting my Bear armor to be light and have the cat school tech equipped. I know that Bear school armor enchanted to light does not increase the stamina regen of it too, anyone done any testing regarding the interactions?

Also if i have a piece of armor enchanted to consider everything light and another piece of armor enchanting to consider everything heavy what happens? would it consider all armor to be light and heavy at the same time? how would it interact with the school techs?

regards

Yes, school skills work with those weight enchantments. Stamina regen of gear is not working correctly currently though, and I am hoping that the devs will address this.

You can only enchant chest armor, and since you can only wear one chest armor at a time, there will never be a situation when you would have two of them at the same time.

Pants on high level gear can have 3 sockets so you can enchant that with a runeword too

Never seen any pants with 3 slots. Let me if you find any.

you might wanna take a look at this thread before enchanting your gear with levity.

The Pants on my Legendary Mastercrafted Ursine set has 3 sockets. The Boots and gloves have 2 sockets each.

I hope they fix the bug on the weight runewords, however luckily if you don't plan to abuse it, it should not be making a big impact on your stats since you really should not be changing your armor all that often

true. i got unlucky, coz right after enchanting my chest gear with levity, i switched a lot of different gear to compare their stats (armor and protection). i didn't even pay attention to the fact that my dps was increasing every time i switched gear, and, at that time, i was oblivious to the existence ot this bug.

i realised something was off only once i noticed i was able to destroy any enemy with a single swing of my sword.... and by then it was already too late, as all my HOS saves were already ruined.

luckily i still have an "after main game ending" save, so at least i can get back to it and start over my expansion campaign...... although i'm not sure if i wanna do that right now, after such a frustrating experience (i basically wasted 1 week of playtime).
