I suspect that I will like Regis based upon the very little bit that was mentioned in TW1Babli said:1. Cahir (100%)

Seems pretty spot on. Those were my favourite book characters too. Especially Regis. I LOVE Regis![]()
They all show up in Baptism by Fire. My favourite book of Witcher saga btw. A lot of travelling here and that´s why I hope there will be a lot of travelling in third game. Also Zoltan Chivay makes his debut here as wellWardDragon said:I suspect that I will like Regis based upon the very little bit that was mentioned in TW1Which book does he show up in? I don't know the other two characters either, so which books are they in too?
Know that there can only be one emperor here...Olloki said:Another Emhyr
This quiz is from the books, not the game, so Shani isn't present in the quiz. I was hoping for Regis, so I'm happy.DragonsDream said:Now what I find interesting, is how highly ranked Triss is on Corylea's results. You sure you prefer Shani?.
Nah, you're at most 29% whiny baby.DragonsDream said:8. Ciri (29%)
I wish my Ciri was 0% though.... she is such a whiny baby... and apparently so am I
I love what I've seen of Regis so far. I'm really looking forward to the continuing translations of The Tower of Swallow, so I can learn more about him.DragonsDream said:1. Cahir (100%)

This quiz is based on the novels, not on the books, so Sile isn't a possibility the test even considers.DragonsDream said:Awesome, I got Geralt in first placeI was afraid it was going to stick me with Sile or something like that

I loved Zoltan in TW1, so I was very happy to see that he had a great entrance in Baptism of Fire. In TW1, I like Zoltan's goodness, his joie de vivre, and his sense of humor. And how do we first meet him? Lustily singing a silly song, while escorting refugees to safety. Great character definition in a single paragraph.DragonsDream said:They all show up in Baptism by Fire. With your many humorous commentaries, you've been our entertainer here. Maybe the quiz is more right than you know.DragonsDream said:Jaskier 100%, you've got to be bloody kidding me.

I haven't been able to read all the books yet, since the fan translations are only halfway through The Tower of Swallow. But he's the Emperor of Nilfgaard, and in another thread, Nilfgaard has been variously compared to Nazi Germany, the Roman Empire, and the Byzantine Empire.KnightofPhoenix said:So who can tell me about Emhyr and why he causes gulping?
Well if he is an Augustus or a Justinian, then I don't mindCorylea said:I haven't been able to read all the books yet, since the fan translations are only halfway through The Tower of Swallow. Think about the rulers of those places....
Bonhart was only interesting before TLoL, then he got butchered by Sapkowski and reduced to being a rapey angry slayer with unhealthy obsession about a certain girl. The main antagonist is clearly Vilgefortz. Emhyr is... well, I wouldn't call him a typical antagonist. He just happen to share the same ideology as the other ambiguous types, who could be classified as enemies to Geralt & Co.(Dijkstra, Phil, Avallac'h, Skellen), that the end justify the means and he has rights to do whatever is necessary for the greater good.60 said:Because he is the main antagonist of the books, the man behind everything that goes wrong for our heros, I think that he is a great character and pretty epic not as epic as Leo Bonhart but still pretty epic (he is the emperor of Nilfgaard)[/font]
Very manipulative and very intelligent ruler, Several times you can read in the books how he sabotaged many plots against him. If I'm not mistaken, He also got a successor.KnightofPhoenix said:So who can tell me about Emhyr and why he causes gulping?
Yes, but still...eww.PsyCoil said:Very manipulative and very intelligent ruler...Also I think he was a brilliant tactician and was very unpredictable during the 2nd Nilfgaard war.
*nod* *nod* *nod* He may be brilliant, but his ethics lag FAR behind his intelligence.kyogen said:Yes, but still...eww.
True that. I got in that order: Geralt, Yennefer, RegisCorylea said:*nod* *nod* *nod* He may be brilliant, but his ethics lag FAR behind his intelligence.
