Quiz -- Which character of the Witcher world are you?

+
1. Cahir (100%)
2. Milva (100%)
3. Regis (95%)

Seems pretty spot on. Those were my favourite book characters too. Especially Regis. I LOVE Regis :D

I suspect that I will like Regis based upon the very little bit that was mentioned in TW1 :D Which book does he show up in? I don't know the other two characters either, so which books are they in too?

Emhyr (100%)

Geralt (84%)

Milva (76%)

Cahir (68%)

Ciri (68%)

Triss Merigold (56%)

Yennefer (52%)

Angouleme (48%)

Regis (24%)

Jaskier (0%)

Another Emhyr

They all show up in Baptism by Fire. My favourite book of Witcher saga btw. A lot of travelling here and that´s why I hope there will be a lot of travelling in third game. Also Zoltan Chivay makes his debut here as well :)

Now what I find interesting, is how highly ranked Triss is on Corylea's results. You sure you prefer Shani? ;).
This quiz is from the books, not the game, so Shani isn't present in the quiz. I was hoping for Regis, so I'm happy.

8. Ciri (29%)
I wish my Ciri was 0% though.... she is such a whiny baby... and apparently so am I
Nah, you're at most 29% whiny baby. :) But really, considering all the poor girl has been through, I'd say she's entitled to a whine here and there!

I love what I've seen of Regis so far. I'm really looking forward to the continuing translations of The Tower of Swallow, so I can learn more about him.

Awesome, I got Geralt in first place :D I was afraid it was going to stick me with Sile or something like that :p
This quiz is based on the novels, not on the books, so Sile isn't a possibility the test even considers.

I loved Zoltan in TW1, so I was very happy to see that he had a great entrance in Baptism of Fire. In TW1, I like Zoltan's goodness, his joie de vivre, and his sense of humor. And how do we first meet him? Lustily singing a silly song, while escorting refugees to safety. Great character definition in a single paragraph.

Jaskier 100%, you've got to be bloody kidding me.
With your many humorous commentaries, you've been our entertainer here. Maybe the quiz is more right than you know. ;)

Jaskier (100%)

Angouleme (90%)

Geralt (70%)

Emhyr (55%)

Regis (50%)

Triss Merigold (50%)

Jaskier and a lot of Angouleme mmmmh that makes me the most epic thing in the witcher universe :D*except for Leo Bonhart

Awesome :D I need to hurry up and read it :p I've got the fan translations for Times of Contempt and Baptism of Fire loaded into my Kindle and ready to go, but I haven't had much time to read lately.

So who can tell me about Emhyr and why he causes gulping?

SPOILERS!!!

Because he is the main antagonist of the books, the man behind everything that goes wrong for our heros, I think that he is a great character and pretty epic not as epic as Leo Bonhart but still pretty epic (he is the emperor of Nilfgaard)

I haven't been able to read all the books yet, since the fan translations are only halfway through The Tower of Swallow. But he's the Emperor of Nilfgaard, and in another thread, Nilfgaard has been variously compared to Nazi Germany, the Roman Empire, and the Byzantine Empire.

Think about the rulers of those places....

Well if he is an Augustus or a Justinian, then I don't mind

Bonhart was only interesting before TLoL, then he got butchered by Sapkowski and reduced to being a rapey angry slayer with unhealthy obsession about a certain girl. The main antagonist is clearly Vilgefortz. Emhyr is... well, I wouldn't call him a typical antagonist. He just happen to share the same ideology as the other ambiguous types, who could be classified as enemies to Geralt & Co.(Dijkstra, Phil, Avallac'h, Skellen), that the end justify the means and he has rights to do whatever is necessary for the greater good.

Very manipulative and very intelligent ruler, Several times you can read in the books how he sabotaged many plots against him. If I'm not mistaken, He also got a successor.

Some very heavy spoilers in the links above. Also I think he was a brilliant tactician and was very unpredictable during the 2nd Nilfgaard war.

Yes, but still...eww.

I keep scoring Cahir, Triss, and Geralt on this quiz. That's fine I guess, but for the record, I think Ciri is obnoxious. I don't care what she's been through. Everyone else has also been through it or something even worse. Hmph. Such a shame that Queen Calanthe (she's truly awesome) didn't have more time to teach her to grow up.

*nod* *nod* *nod* He may be brilliant, but his ethics lag FAR behind his intelligence.

True that. I got in that order: Geralt, Yennefer, Regis

P.S.
I do hope we'll get to see a lot of him in TW3, Or maybe even see him in the upcoming EE *wishful thinking* *sniff* and that the 3rd war will be on a much bigger scale that the second.
