Random Encounters?
So I always read in previews and heard devs mention in videos that there are dozens of different kinds of dynamic encounters in the wilderness. Not just a pack of wolves spawning or a group of bandits appearing (Although I have yet to run into a pack of bandits or enemy soldiers that arent defined to a location on the map)
But little encounters with essence, such as coming across a group of bandits celebrating a robbery, or a group of drunkards calling you slurs and picking a fist fight, or helping save a robbery in progress, or instead of just coming across a giant, you come across a group of people cowering in fear about to be crushed by a giant. I was told it would be like Red Dead Redemption, little story moments, only way more fleshed out.
Instead, so far, the only times I have come across bandits are disappointingly in "bandit camps", which a pre-defined locations on the map.
Some of the devs during demos even had the audacity to see the player come across a camp and call it a "dynamic encounter". It isn't dynamic if it isn't...dynamic.
Even Far Cry 4 was able to properly implement something of the sort, with certain groups of enemies, along with tents, a fire, and cages would spawn randomly across the landscape.
I expected that the bandit camps would pop up here and there in different locations and the environment would be changing and evolving..like they said. A changing and evolving world.
Instead we get predefined locations?
Am I missing something? Any of you guys run into any good dynamic encounters they talked about before?

Was expecting a bit more to be honest.
Technically, I guess, an enemy spawning is..dynamic..
sigh
