Random Encounters
So, back-track like a couple months, a year, two years..
Whenever I read a preview about the Witcher 3, I keep on reading how the world is living, breathing, systemic, and filled with dynamic encounters. It was said to be like RDR's system except much more in depth.

Now, I have the game. Been playing for a bit. Exploring Velen.
Well, now I know that those "random encounters" are not random. They are predesigned, pre located locations on the map. Which is incredibly disappointing. I mean, even Far cry 4 was able to do it better. Groups of enemies with tents, cages and fires would spawn randomly across the landscape.
Meanwhile, the world in the witcher 3 is sparsely filled with wolves in the forests, ghuls in the plains, drowners in swamps...prelocated bandit camps,..and little else. The monsters barely show up.
I know that CDP prides themselves on hand crafted events..but a con to that is the replay value drops.
I would just want a mod that makes monsters like trolls and griffins and giants appear more often in the open world, make bandits appear more often, make bandit camps respawn, more NPCs galloping across the plains and not just restricted to villages, etceteras
What would you guys think of a more polished version of RDR's missions? I mean, Witcher 3 has similar person in distress events, but they are predefined to a location on the map and can only be completed once.
So far, it seems that for the most part, wevryns and basilisks and stuff mostly only appear near guarded treasure.
