Cd projekt red should fix the ray reconstruction. It looks like an oil painting because it's taking an image which is overly SHARPENED with lots of halos and then filters it to the final output.
No, that's not how it should be done. Sharpnening should be done as a post effect, not before (AS WELL AS GIVING THE USER FULL CONTROL OVER THE SHARPNESS SLIDER because I won't ever understand the point of having a secondary slider which just fs up the image by sharpening the original halo artifacts.....) And remember - the more you sharpen, the bigger the chance of blowing up pixels. Bigger pixels = lower perceived resolution.

I don't care about this game, this post is meant for anyone who knows how to or wants to report this bug to cd project red. I don't know how to and I'm not interested in the game anymore. If YOU want a better product, go report this bug. I'm 100% sure that's the reason for the oil painting look, just because the sharpness halos also look mushy, not like a post process effect.
If I'm wrong, explain to me how Alan Wake 2's RR looks so much better, where you don't see as much haloing. It does have it, but not to such an extreme degree.

Also fix the gddam dlss finally. It worked so well before 2.0 update, way less aliasing.
