.re exporter - collision meshes

As soon as I want to export a mesh (3dsMax -> .re) that has a custom collision mesh (_COLL or _TRI) I get an error message.

Picture of error message

Example file where it does not work

3ds Max 2013 64 bit

Frequency: Always

Same as Klab. Worked the first time I exported, but after that I just keep getting the error.

Afaik: no.
You have to create collision meshes using REDkit's Mesh editor.
View Klabs tutorial on this: Importing static meshes - Redkit Tutorial.mp4

Thx. I've watched Klabs video a few times, but still get the same error when just exporting the render mesh.

you need three meshes to be selected for export:
test
test_LOD1
test_LOD2
I just tested it with max2013, 64 bit and a test pillar. re file is being created.

Still no luck here: View attachment 1667

Think it may be related to the plugin not loading for some reason, it doesn't show up in Max's plugin manager.

Are you using the 32 bit version of 3dsmax2013? Then I get this error, too.

Know this is and old thread, and people probably already found the solution (or dont care ^^) but I think I've found the problem. The _COLL object need its polys material ID set to 1. Just keep each _COLL object seperate (if you have more in same object) ex. dont merge them all together.

I can upload a max scene with it working if people want.

-cheers
