I have no idea about the law, so I'm just shooting in the dark here, but jail seems kind of a stretch to me. Dunno though.

he/she hacked into their google account. Definitely illegal.
As far as i know it's the same as stealing any other property. So jail time is a possibilty, but if this is his/her first time than the judge would be more forgiving.
I too think the hacker should be held responsible for what he did,if he was desperate about the info he would have kept it for himself,but he was trully just a petty attention whore.
Seriously? That "I just wanted a little attention" guy will cause some serious problems for the company in the coming days. Hell, some people might lose jobs because of what he did. And CDPR's shares are going to plummet in coming days - people will be losing money. So if there's any legal & practical way that guy might be punished - I say choice & consequences.
I'm kind of surprised they had this kind of information on google ? Seems like the kind of thing to be held on USB or on their own servers that can't be hacked from the outside don't you think? I realize we're not talking about how to cook up deadly plagues here but this seems a bit odd to me. Do they not have their own system/servers in their company?
