Sadly I think that TW2 is out aswell, it could be the best of the group (frankly I believe and hope it will be) but the idiotic press won't bother giving a "indie" dev the title given the big interests that lie behind these contests... also considering in particular that last year title went to ME2 that, despite being a good game, isn't what I would consider an RPG rather an action title; my 2 centsdraconis18491 said:

CD red isn't an indie dev. They just seem to have virtually no restrictions placed on them by their parent company, which is rare. But make no mistake, an indie dev couldn't afford the kind of production values TW2 has. Consider Rocksteady, the dev that made Arkham Asylum. I think their team was around 70 - 80 people. Not really that big. But they had Warner Bros. backing them up. It seems like a similar situation to me.

I have to agree here. As far as games go, CD Projekt doesn't only rival, but it outclasses. In terms of sheer monetary gain, perhaps they're not rivals, but they don't have to be. Small companies throwing out excellent games every few years can make a tidy living for themselves provided they play their marketing correctly and develop a reputation for quality.Mikhailrc said:
