Has Deception been updated today? Because I see today's date on the download site. The module is awesome, the artwork alone deserves an award, but I didn't get very far because of extreme buggy-ness.I would love to give it another shot if it would work better, so please tell me, this is a patched version?

I hope this isn't too presumptuous, But if someone is looking for a voice actor, I'd like to offer my services. I'm in no way a professional, But it is a lifelong passion of mine and something that I actively persue in my spare time. I speak in many dialects and have a fairly wide range to my voice. I've seen good things written about this adventure, but it's basically unplayable. Food is more effective than Swallow potions, perhaps because the base potion was overwritten with one that has no effect. The marauding bands of fleders are abnormally powerful(which isn't inherently problematic, except that they're everywhere and spawn every couple of minutes). Then there are the aforementioned problems with the alchemy sack being nonfunctional, which barely matters since the two most commonly used potions don't do a damn thing. For that matter, it seems odd to me that a town with such an obvious fleder infestation wouldn't have issued a witcher contract.I had really high hopes for this module, and I certainly don't claim that I could do better, but it's quite disappointing to see such a promising story wiped out by crushing gameplay issues.

As this module was made pre-Enhanced Edition, it doesn't work with many of the Enhanced Edition features. We very much wished to continue going, but several issues from several directions convinced us to leave it for what it is: a learning-module game gift for the fans to use and learn from and improve as they see fit. Everything in there is for the fan base to use, and it is not and was not intended to be a final project for corporate grade. REDFlame proved they could put together a module using the tools of the time, including many suggestions by both fans and CDPR. It's playability and plot have varying degrees of quality for those reasons, as well as it was made with no funding in less than six months by 20 people.I urge everyone who has criticism of this demonstration module to open it up in the toolset, fix a few things, and send it back with an updated version. Our gift to you, the fans, can now be your gift to the fans with a few modifications of yours.Thank you very much for your support, praise, and criticism. We didn't get a chance to know half of you half as well as you deserve.
