RED - Please, PLEASE add upgrades for the starting armour!

I know it's subjective, but many consider the starting armour to be the best in the game.

Please add upgrades for it, even if they're only stats so we can keep the look of it at end game.

(We can already do this on PC with mods, but it would be nice to have it in game for our console brothers and sisters)

Thanks.

Agree 100%. I'm using the mod that swaps the starter armor appearance for the pretty but chunky Griffin School armor and I couldn't be happier.

Stick the upgrades behind something particularly vicious or lots of ill tempered somethings, but please let us keep that look without mods.

The starting armor is the best looking armor in the game (Ursine is the only competition).

IF they offer an upgrade to that, would love if the devs considered the following:
- Do NOT change the look even when it is upgraded.
- Stats can be optional Ursine/Griffin/Cat stats so people can choose what they want.

I am just a little baffled by this. Every promotional video had this armor in it, with a cloak that I also wished we could have had. I had assumed it would be upgraded and was very disappointed to realize it was not. I have kept the armor in hopes that it would have been perhaps a DLC. With the new wolf armor diagrams released (level 14 diagrom in Kaer Morhan = sighs) I now doubt we will get it.

The worst one, you mean.

You spelled "best" wrong.

Yup! If they show this as the keyart of the game, you'd think this look would be the main one, and would get priority throughout the game.

Starting armour is still the best looking in the game, a upgradeable version would be great. The Ursine armour looks great, but has clipping issues with itself and everything else. Can't use it, it would drive me mad. Mastercrafted Feline armour is kinda cool, would look much better if I could dye it.
Wolf is ok.

Wolf is too busy. Feline and Ursine are pretty nice.

I hate the chain-mail shoulder pads ,the rest of the armor is cool tho....but not that cool that it needs to be in the late game :S

Yeah - I'm kind of surprised at this. I love the armor crafting and upgrading them, it's great. Lot of love from the developers went into this system.

But not having the armor that's on the cover be one of the upgradable armors? Kind of weird.

Also - In a game that allows for so many different play styles it's kind of sad that you pretty much have to stick with griffin if you love signs. I think they could have made the stats more allround so that you can choose any set of armor with any playstyle. Sure - stamina would suffer the heavier the armor gets but why should a medium armor set really be better at casting signs than a light armor set? If anything it should be the reversed.
