Posted before about a issue when you enabling RedMod in the game launcher the game wont start any more.
Just wanted to see how many of us that has this problem!

My previous post...

"I made a fresh installment of the game and now for some reason the game wont start with GOG's launcher when i have RedMod installed, i have tried both with and without RedMod mod's installed...game just wont start!

I have no other mods installed but RedMod mod's, i can start the game from the shortcut on desctop and from game folder but then no RedMod mod's are activated.

If i uninstall RedMod then i can start the game with the launcher, but then RedMod mod's wont load!

Have tried Verify / Repair and reinstalled the game over again, same issue both times."

"I have made a CLEAN INSTALL where the GOG launcher by it self chose to install RedMod DLC, after the game installation i tried to start the game with the launcher without any mod's at all installed but the game wont start!

Sent in a ticket but wont have my hopes up that anything will happen any time soon to fix this."

If it helps, just checked on Steam with REDMod installed and game runs perfectly fine. Enabled, disabled, uninstalled. All works.

I don't have any mods though because I play the game purely vanilla, but REDMod in itself works perfectly fine.

Shaders could perhaps be the cause of your issue, because when 1.62 released on Steam my game randomly crashed and kept crashing on startup constantly if it was launched from the launcher. After some quick digging I found out the cause were Steam shader cache files which sometimes get corrupted whenever the game/launcher crashes.

If you're on Steam, be sure to clean the shader folder and try again. If you're on GOG, I do not know if it creates shaders, but worth checking out.

@ Kormac67
If you did read so have i tried with a clean installment with no mods, same issue.

@ Crimsomrider
Looks like it is a GOG launcher issue, we are several with the same problem that runs with GOG.

Did you find a solution ?
I have the same problem: if i enable mods in gog, even if mods folder is empty, it won't start.
The only mod i use is my own driving mod, and had no problem for almost 1 year with it.

I just jumped in to check.

On Gog with 1.63 installed and all of my mods updated (Or at least the ones that have 1.63 updates) and everything seems fine. I did have a crash in the inventory screen but that is something mod related that happens sometimes but not too often, still I'm trying to figure out if there is a permanent fix to it, the game itself launched fine though and other than the inventory screen issue all of the mods seemed to be functioning.

I bought a Cyberpunk 2077 pack that did include base game and the new Phantom Liberty from STEAM, got a good deal from them so i basically only payed for the DLC. Installed it and had no problems to play with RedMod enabled, i will never buy a game that comes from GOG again and the people at GOG was not helpful at solving the issue with there own launcher ether...well good ridens i never need to have anything more to do with them again!

I found a workaround: close gog, and use redprelauncher instead (it will not launch if gog is open in background). You can activate mods and it works.

That was one of the first thing i did try and it did not work for me.

Redprelauncher works fine fore me launched from GOG.
You have to configure in GOG to use redprelauncher instead of cyberpunk.exe if you want to use redmods.
if i try to launch with redprelauncher (or use the "launch with mods" option in gog), the game launch, but without redmods.
if i "enable mods" in gog settings, the game won't launch.

the only way i can play with redmods is to use redprelauncher alone with gog closed (as i said, even with gog just in background, redlauncher will failed to launch).
