REDmod not available for download

Hi,
What's the issue exactly? Redmod doesn't appear?
You can try to download a mod compatible with Redmod (on Nexus for example) and place this mod in the mod folder of the game. In theory, once the launcher is detecting there is a "Redmod mod" in the folder, Redmod will be available.

I used Vortex to install mods, and after couple plays, it hint that REDmod is missing (1st picture). I tried to contact steam for support, but they replied something like you got this game from your family for free and therefore you can not install the free DLC REDmod...I checked the mods folder in the local files, the mods are present, but the content is only a couple of files named__folder_managed_by_vortex.(2nd picture)

The launcher does has an activate mods toggle (3rd picture Translation: the yellow button left: Start game; the toggle under the setting button: Activate Mods). However, when I click that toggle, nothing happens.

Well, you got your answer from the support
And as far as I'm aware of, there is no other way to install RedMod than from the store. So if you can't from the store, I don't know what you could do.

I'm in the exact same situation. If not possible to download the game anymore in EA App, I wonder if we could get some kind of code to download it from GOG or Steam, as we did buy the game and should be eligible for the free update along with everybody else.

Hello! I was hoping someone in CDPR could help me with my case. I bought the game back in 2015 using Origin (what now is EA Play) with all DLC and expansions. The game is still there and available to download and play. However, will I be able to get the Free Remaster Update and buy the new DLC in EA Play? I can't even find the game in the storefront anymore so I'm thinking that won't be the case. Is there a way to get a copy in GOG or will I have to resign myself to buy the game again when there's some discount?

@SigilFey, in the original thread (the welcome thread) me and @Cbas78 were talking about The Witcher 3, so I think I got wrongly moved to this post. We both bought Witcher 3 in 2015, when the game was available for purchase in Origin store (now known as EA App). Our question/issue was regarding if we are going to be eligible for the free remaster update + the free DLC announced recently, and how we would download it.

Would it be possible for the owner of the game in your "steam family" to send you the REDmod files? Since the game is DRM free and this isn't an illegal process.

I think the files are under the "Tools" folder.

Noted...but I'll leave this here for now, as the issue is platform functionality and file availability. That really isn't a "game" issue, per say. The problem will be similar whether TW3, CP2077, Thronebreaker, etc.

We don't really have a specific category for that, so the link above should be close enough. I would imagine there should be a way to transfer your key over to GOG, Steam, Epic, etc. Someone in support will hopefully be able to sort you out.
