Reduce Rain Frequency

+
At this point it is basically a fact that the weather system is non existingly broken.
It either rains constantly, or you have no weather events at all in 40+ hours like me.

II hope it will be acknowledged by cdpr and scheduled for fixing. Weather is supposed to be a huge atmosphere factor in this game....
Sad

I feel that rain adds to the immersion of the game. In a dystopian world, rain would occur often, likely acid rain.
Haven't seen any rain yet, not lightning strikes but I'm very early in the game...

It's rained maybe three times for me in the whole game. I really really love the way Japantown and Watson look in the rain, and I would love to see it more. Maybe I'm more biased towards Shadowrun style cyberpunk themes, but I personally feel like 2077 is too bright.

Please, CDPR, give us a rain frequency meter to adjust in game settings and/or an option to choose a moody game setting. It's 'Night City' not 'Bright City.' lol

I'm with you. I get that Shadowrun (on Sega Genesis at least) was set in Seattle where it rains a ton and Night City is in California where it doesn't rain much but I haven't seen any rain at all in over 40 hours that wasn't in a scripted scene.

This is the latest game that it's popular to hate and crap on.

Plenty of legitimate flaws and problems with the game, but the goal of most of the people who complain about it seems to be to find the most inane non-issue possible and focus on it.
I don't think that people coming in here to post are just hating and crapping on it. I feel like all of the posts here are pointing out legitimate flaws. I'm absolutely positive that 99.9% of the people in this thread know wanting more or less rain is a non-issue. However, there are plenty of other threads pointing out very big issues with the game, such as things that were promised/advertised but not delivered, and even game breaking bugs. Posting threads like this doesn't devalue threads with concerns that should be prioritized. If anything, these threads are valuable to those threads.
Just hear me out for a minute. When game devs are working on major bug fixes and game updates, they put a lot of time and effort into those major things. It would behoove them to also trickle in smaller fixes and updates while those bigger updates are being worked on so consumers don't feel like the devs are doing nothing at all. Not only that, but it makes the whole game an overall more enjoyable experience, including the little non-issue things.

I, for one, would love to see continued production on this game, at least in the form of free dlc that adds quality of life updates such as rain frequency adjustments, if not also larger content updates such as more clothing, car customization, and additional romance options. That doesn't, however, mean I don't want to see bug fixes on the game.

Do you feel me? I don't want to sound like I'm coming at you from an argumentative or aggressive stance. I see your concerns and I know sometimes it feels like yelling into the void when trying to get devs to fix big bugs.

Aren't we supposed to get moods like this?
Where the hell are these?
