Regarding PS4 framerate.

I made an account just to post this, so here goes.
This is one of the best looking games i've ever played, even looking at some comparison videos of all 3 platforms, the game looks pretty much the same (obviously not as good as the PC but still on the high end of graphics). The problem is, the game is very difficult to enjoy at 20fps, ruining the overall experience of an excellent game, i was hoping that with patch 1.07 it would improve overall performance as stated in the change log, alas the performance was made worse. Honestly, it would be fantastic if CDPR downgraded the graphics, maybe change it to 900p or even 720p, get rid of the fog, whatever it takes to make it run at a stable 30fps (maybe make it an optional thing which can be toggled in the options menu). This game is wonderful and looks amazing but the consoles are clearly struggling to cope with the graphics, a $400 console cannot compare to a $1500 PC. I would rather have a game that runs at a stable 30fps and looks ok, so i could enjoy the story, than a game that runs at 20fps but looks great.
Please no 'should have bought a PC' comments, it really doesn't affect you if you don't have a console.

I'm a PC player, and I'd never say "should have bought a PC." All I can say is I feel badly for you.. and I truly hope CDPR actually fixes framerate / stuttering problems in 1.08 for PS4 because you're all missing out on an amazing game when played 60FPS constantly..

On PS4 you can turn off motion blur in the options menu. Try that and see if it improves the frame rate a little.

After turning these options off I noticed that the frame rate was a little better.

Besides motion blur isn't a great thing to have on... personal opinion... it looks better without it for me

They already did this. First downgrade - 1.01 patch. 2 downgrade - 1.03 patch.
I don't want more downgrade. I bought a gorgeous game, now it's look realy worse. Terrible pop-in of NPC, less numbers of NPC (Novigrad - Ghost town), no shadows on the distance anymore, worse draw of distance (look at the grass now), no blood on the dead enemies, no shadows from torches on the streets anymore, etc.
And all of this doesn't change FPS. So they just did 2 downgrades for nothing.
PS4 isn't a problem, dev''s hands is problem. They must do optimization without downgrade. Just do optimization and bring all graphics back.
Like Rockstar did in GTAV (25-30fps on release, stable 30 now without any downgrade) or Ubisoft in Unity (20-22 fps on release, 25-27 now without any downgrade).
