Register.exe connection problem

Today I wanted to register for the leaderboards using register.exe, but when I try to log in I get the error 'Connection error. Check your network connection'.

I never had this problem before. I tried to reinstall the game, patching it back to 2.0, added register.exe to my firewall exceptions but the problem remains, despite the Launcher saying I'm online. I'm using the retail version of the game.

Did anyone else have this problem and managed to fix it?

I'm having the exact same problem. I think the servers are down or something. I hope someone can clear this up. Please help because I'm getting much better at the Arena and want to post my scores, but can't and the Register.exe method doesn't work as OP mentioned.

Hola soy de Peru...y aqui esta lo mismo desde ayer...que pasa??? espero puedan arreglarlo...yo pase el Drak mode y en modo arena quiero ser el mejor y no puedo (claro tambine en Dark Mode)

Aun nada...espero que se pongan las pilas los señores de The Witcher 2 el juego me salio caro por aqui en Peru asi q no es justo esto...!!!! Arreglen el servidor...

same error for last 24 hrs now,

i hope its a server side problem, and may b they can fix it, i beat my highest score just to find out i cant upload

Toss another one on the fire, same issue here. I just bought the game today and I'm not sure how to input this "Finisher Pack" code without registering the game.

Just download the patches from here http://en.thewitcher.com/support/ and you will get ALL DLC`s available and no registration required .

@ everyone else . I`m sure CDPR is aware of the situation with the Arena and the scores but i`ll PM just in case and maybe get some sort of reply .

Wow! That's a class act you guys. Not only do you remove the DRM the moment it proves to hurt the experience of the game (one of the reasons I bought it actually, tell that to your investors), but you actually include DLC, including that incredibly annoying fad of "preorder exclusive" DLC, in later patches! Combined with the nice quality "feelies" I got when I bought the game (the letter of propaganda with the political cartoon was amazing), I have to say you got yourself a fan in one go.

Apperently CDP Red fixed it since I can log in again.
