Report on a lot of bugs that need to be fixed.
So I got a lot of bugs to report and since its indeed a lot,its better to put them all in a single post.I saw most of these on 1.08 but I've read the complete list of fixes on 1.10 and 1.11 and didn't find any of these described there plus I found some still present in the game after 1.10 and 1.11 so lets go:
1 - Play Time counter:Its been a while that I wanted to post about this,the play time counter has been bugged since 1.04,for a game like Witcher 3 the importance of play time is sky high and I really can't believe CDPR hasn't fixed this yet.
2 - Rabbit Pelt:Can't collect rabbit pelt from dead rabbits in Skellige,yes for some reason it happens only in Skellige...this has been happening since 1.07(that I know).
3 - Flickering of Shadows:This was introduced with 1.08...its really annoying and something that needs a fix ASAP.The part I found that its most intense is in Oxenfurt.
4 - Foglet with Water Hag head:I think no one noticed this bug but since 1.04(that I know) when you cut off the head of a Foglet its a Water Hag head that comes off,and for some reason this happens in Velen only.
5 - Merchants bugged:There are 3 bugged merchants in the game.You can't trade with them...when you select the option to take a look at their goods it won't go to the shop screen.These are the locations of the 2 merchants...1st:The one you save from the "Person in Distress" mark near the Pontar crossing/bridge.2nd:The one in "Hindarsfjal" in the "Isolated Hut" fast travel point,there is a "Abandoned Site" in this location and the merchant appears after you clean the site,same thing happens with this one it won't go to the shop screen after you select the option to,plus the merchant you see sat in the chair is one model when you speak with him its another model.And the 3rd:Its a different case as you can't even speak to him but there is a "Inkeep symbol" above his head.This one is in Mulbrydale.
6 - Blacksmiths bugged - Can't speak with 2 blacksmiths,the one in Blackbough and the one in Kaer Trolde,there's no option to speak with them above their heads only "Blacksmith" is displayed.Now if you meditate you can talk with them but still this needs a fix as the game wasn't supposed to be like this I believe.Note:This happens with the blacksmith of Kaer Trolde only after completing the mission where you take a letter to him.
7 - Bug in Wheat Fields - There is a place where every time you go through there with Roach he won't pass it as if the road was blocked,literally an invisible wall.Even if you try to jump with Roach he won't pass....the location is exactly in the "Wheat Fields" fast travel point near the Vegelbud residence.Another thing happening since 1.04/1.05(that I know).
8 - Candle Lights bug - In some places candle lights dim when you move the camera,like when you get close to the candle lights and you move the camera like this for example...Geralt is facing the light and you move the camera to Geralt's front,the light will dim out of nothing as if someone blowed it.I noticed this only in Skellige but I'm not sure about the other regions,a reference place is Yen's room in Kaer Trolde harbor.I save ma game pretty often there and it happens every time.
9 - Music bug - In Skellige when you load a save file while in the sea,or lil isles far from major isles like Faroe and etc.No music plays which is pretty annoying.
10 - Whales bug - Whales freeze when you're too far from them...that needs a fix ASAP.Its horrible to see something like that in a game like Witcher 3 and it happens very very often.I'm sure other people reported that already.
11 - Bald Mountain bug - (spoiler) After completing the story quest on Bald Mountain if you go back there people are still there acting as if it was the night of the quest,even saying things related only to the quest.Plus Foglets re-appear there once you finish the quest and they roam there while people aren't even scared of them I mean they act as if the Foglets weren't there and Foglets act like that too cuz they don't attack the people.This is a MAJOR BUG.
12 - Canter in Rannvaig - When you're riding Roach on the village of Rannvaig and you canter upward the lil hills that lead to the exit of the village,the camera shakes as if the earth was trembling,I mean it really looks like the earth is trembling...this happens since 1.07(that I know).
13 - Guards in the Var Attre house - (spoiler) After the arrive of radovid in Novigrad in the Var Attre house near Passiflora that was supposed to have only nilfgaardian guards now has 2 nilfgaardian guards and 2 redanian guards which makes no sense.
14 - Guards of Baroness La Valette - After beating the game 2 of the guards in the baroness's house become bugged and they always stay in the middle of the passage in the side,below the house instead of guarding the house.
15 - Dark Steel Ingot - Now there are 2 Dark Steel Ingot in the crafting components list.
This may be a bug only happening to me but I'll report nonetheless.
1 - The "Guarded Treasure" near "Rogne" actually above Rogne as shown in the map,the monster which I believe its an Earth Elemental won't appear no matter what you do.Now here's a detail,there is part of a Ursine Gear there and to get it you need to face 2 Gargoyles.When I went there to get the Ursine gear I saw the Earth Elemental there but I didn't faced him as he was way above ma lvl,so maybe it has something to do with this...that I went there saw him and didn't defeated him,I dunno.(BTW other friends of mine told me the same happened with them).
