Request: Flymode?

Hi everyone, I have no idea how to work with Djinni, so I have to ask..Is there any way to have something like Flymode? (I mean possibility of floating in the space high above the ground, not for cheating, but for making good screenshots of Kear Morhen for example...)We had this wonderful flymode patch in Myst 5 End Of Ages and it was really wonderful..Thanks a lot for answers

Yes, for the camera. ;D

You can use this bit of LUA to 'Unlock' the camera: (case sensitive)

g_cAuroraSettings.m_bUnlockCamera = true

you can try this out in the console in Djinni, but to use in the game, you'll have to find a way to fire up an LUA script that contains the code (like an item in inventory), as the it gets reset to 'false' every time you load a save game or enter a new area. :wall:And, you can use this just for fun: eace:

g_cAuroraSettings.m_bFreeFlightCamera = true

I can make an item as a substitute for the console, the item can execute an LUA script that you can change on the fly (since LUA doesn't need to be compiled), but you'll still Alt-Tab out of the game to change the script, go back, and use item to execute commands. Not cool!

;D Hehe, thank you, I have no idea what LUA is and that stuff you just said sounds very strange to me ;DSo I suppose there is no "patch" that I can simply install for it?

In djinni, type "unlockcamera 2" in console, whilest using "f1" or "f3" camera to unlock a freefly mode. To get it locked again, type "unlockcamera 0".

Thank you, I will try ;Dedit: wow, no need! When launching game in Djinni, all I need to do is go to Game -> Camera -> Free flight ;DThank you for pushing me to do to djinni ;D

Keep an eye for easter eggs - some were never found out till now, due to noone using freefly mode.

I will watch carefully, already found area in Vizima we never had chance to go to! And it is quite large area
