Okay. I will tell you my story. I spotted Judy at Lizzies when I went to see Evelyn for the first time. Then we met "in the basement" to see braindance and we met Judy in person. I fell in love with her straight away! The way she looked, the way she had her make up on, and that smile while she winks to me... Throughout the game I tried to make everything to satisfy her. I did more and more quests for her, she ordered me a pizza, and when I felt bad she did a breakfast - sandwiches - before she left the house. I wanted to get laid until I saw Pyramid Song. Only then I realised she's something much more, and she deserves all the best. She'd be perfect wife :D And I also found out I can't romance her... Anyway, I still think she's better than Panam, she looks better - at least for me - and she seems to be a caring person, you will receive a few messages from her, even as a friend when she leaves NC. And damn! Panam never did a sandwich for me! Even at the rooftop when I called her, she was like "Do you know what time is it? Why do you wake me up?", like she didn't know V was dying and wanted to hear her voice maybe for the last time...

Judy is the best composed character in this game. Period!

She is extremely realistic. You almost feel you're standing right next to her.

I guess this is also because she has a special way to walk, talk and react. And then you suddenly realize she is just a completely normal person whom you could have met in real life. And then it hits you, doesn't it!

I think, personally, that Judy is the strongest character I have ever encountered in any game so far.

Judy is creeping right under your skin and into your heart.

So, I think we should give the people/person who created her a hand? It's top notch work behind Judy!

Add me to the list!

My first playthrough was as a female V and I was glad I had because after all the endings I've read about for this game, taking her with you, with Panam and the gang, HAS to be the best ending because her VM is to you while she's just waiting outside for you.

Also, yeah, her story and backstory are well thought out and she's just a good friend, too.
I honestly was sad that they limit how much you can say to her once the romance is achieved and she's just waiting in her apt to leave NC with you.

Good DLC would be adding her as a companion, adding more conversation and the funniest thing... WHY can't you invite your romance to YOUR apartment???
I mean, you can get a cat to hang out in your apt, why not your romance?

Anyway, also add my kudos for Judy's character and story creators. Well done!

I feel you guys, for me Judy was the best part of this game as well. Everything about this character is so unique, it just makes me wanna have way more content with her. There is a thread where people been posting their ideas about Judy in the future so if you guys want to add something then catch the link.

@Xavynius - Doesn't seem like she would have minded... After all, she went with Female V and the Aldecaldos instead of going to Oregon on her own like she had originally planned, right?... ;)

I agree with you, I wrote something similar a few replies back, but it's probably lost down all the others.

But yeah, I feel like in that specific scenario, gender should not limit your chances of being with someone, and I do agree that the best way to do it would have been to have each partner react in a different way to your in-game choices, making you closer to them if you decide to be good enough, siding with their personalities more.

That's why I prever Judy over Panam, I love both, both are awesome, but personality of Judy might be closer to me?

I am playing on pc and I heard of a command that lets you romance Judy as a male character.
I tried it out and was very surprised how well it works. There are some minor bugs because the developers didn't want to intergrate this but other than that it almost works perfectly (well, sometimes people refer to me as a girl).
So in conclusion, I believe that it wouldn't be that much of a task to improve this so that a romance for both gender would be possible.

That being said, it's the developers decision and we have to live with that. Even if we don't like it

The video isn't available anymore, I'm curious what did you do with the cyberengine precisely? I'm curious to see if it'll work if a female v try to romance panam, or a male v that try to romance River.
I've a theory: the sex scenes are explicit and they don't work if they're the same for both genders (example Meredith sex scene is horrible). So, to avoid other awkward sex scenes, and to avoid having to do 2 different sex scenes for every romance they chose to make all the characters hetero/gay.

I wish that they spent more time with main character role sex scenes. Not talking about just making pornos, but from a game perspective. I was thinking Meredith was going to be more into kink. Yes, her outfit reflected that, but otherwise the actions were the same. They could have really emphasized some personality there and how people are different. The game is, after all, exploring human relationships, both good and bad.

That's my criticism for the sex scenes. But I am still very much enjoying the game and still working through it.
