Request: Sheathes

So I was poking around in this forum and found a topic about sheaths, but it died rather quickly with only one response.Has there been any development on a mod that adds sheathes to Geralt's back so his swords aren't suspended in mid air?

I have a feeling that those are for the for special edition also seeing as the armor and bodys and other things are not quit the same, such as the Kochskyscreen shot the oder armor has a rose on it in the game it dose not. Also he has his knifes from the opening movie in the game he dose not. So I think it was a older verson of the game that they shelved because of tek or cost. Or it could be that some thins will not run or show if your PC is not up to snuff.

there's clearly a model problem here. Early screenshots of the witcher showed sheaths. So they were planned at one time. And clearly running around with sharp blades on your back is not clever. I suspect it's difficult to keep the model of the blade perfectly lined up with the model of the sheath, and so the blade kept showing through.

I too am hoping someone comes up with a way to put the sheeth on the back. I was dissappointed when I started playing and there was no sheeth on the back.

I did notice in the opening movie that the sheath is barely attached to his back and seems to attach in between his shoulder blades where the straps cross. so I don't get why no one has created a sheath mod yet. I've also noticed that on the Making of The Witcher that there are some actual gameplay scenes where it clearly shows 2 scabbords on his back and there seemed to be no problems with how they interacted with the movements. I don't know if these scenes were beta or what, but even the location and fight scene doesn't exist in either the original version or the EE version, ie Garalt running off of a balcony the ground below.
