Request - Update "Immersive Close Walking Camera" for 1.12

Could someone update the following mod to 1.12 for me? :) (right now it's compatible with 1.11)

http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/579/?

I really like to use it again and I don't know if and when the original author will be updating it. I won't take much effort, I assume. The mod basically switches the camera to "over encumbered camera" when Geralt is walking slowly.

Pretty please. :smiling2:

Semi-relevant: Does anyone know the camera values for the over-burdened state?

Because then people can use either Immersive Cam or Absolute Cam mods and type in the overburdened camera numbers themselves. I currently use a set of numbers that *I think* are the same as overburdened values, but I just want to be sure.

you can just use http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/856/? with these presets: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/download/6415 . they do basically the same...

Thank you for pointing out this mod. It looks really great. But my problem isn't completely solved yet - Maybe I'm missing something.

The mod makes only makes the difference between "sprint" and "exploration"... but I only want to have the close camera when walking slowly... not when walking with normal speed - both are here combined under exploration. Is the mod capable of treating them individually?

@CoconutChriss As far as I know, you set it up for "slow walking", and the camera gets a little bit further away when you start running. I am using Immersive Cam, and it's working like I explained, but I'm pretty sure they both work the same way on the background.

No, unfortunately there is no slow walk to set up, only the usual "exploration" which covers both kinds of walking and then there is sprint.

So thank you so far, but my request still stands. If anybody finds the time please update the mod from the starting post for us. :)

However, I will also ask the Absolute Camera author to include slow walk in a future update.

Well, "exploration" mode Is the same as "slow walk". It applies when Geralt either stands still or, surprise, slowly walks. However, you additionally have to toggle "Sprint Zoom Control" ON (at the bottom of the page) to get the aforementioned effect of the camera slightly panning out when Geralt is transitioning from slowly walking into jogging.

However, there is no option to adjust the jogging speed on its own yet. Unfortunately, right now you can't set values for x/y/z that are completely sperated from either exploration or sprint.

So, not a slow walk feature is missing from this (otherwise) great mod, but one that allows customization of the jogging speed independently.

This is what I'm talking about the whole time.

@AsarGiN Thank you so much. :affection: A toast to you. :cheers:

All my favorite modifications are now functional again. What a great day.

If somebody interested, I also added something to the mod. If you playing with the controller you can enable the close cam by double taping on the right pad. Similar to how you call the horse.

Here this version of the mod: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4iZ-Xpp7wSHUXRaNDU5b0tsdW8/view?usp=sharing

Also you need to edit or add this lines to input.settings at " Documents\The Witcher 3":

[Exploration]
IK_Pad_RightThumb=(Action=WalkToggle)

[Exploration_Replacer_Ciri]
IK_Pad_RightThumb=(Action=WalkToggle)

While you're at it ... :) I seem to have discovered a bug. Right now when Geralt is over encumbered he is still able to walk on normal speed.

Uninstalling the mod solves this. Maybe you can look into it, to make sure its not happening just in my game.

Sorry, don't know what you mean. When you over encumbered, you can only walk with NORMAL speed, not faster, and also moves camera closer.

And while I at it, I made a version where you can slowly run during mod effect.

For controller, again you have to change input.settings, and double tap Right Thumb to activate

[Exploration]
IK_Pad_RightThumb=(Action=WalkToggle)

[Exploration_Replacer_Ciri]
IK_Pad_RightThumb=(Action=WalkToggle)

There is a slow walk and a normal walk (medium speed) ... wenn Geralt carries too much, he cannot walk with medium speed.
The mod doesn't change the speed of the character.

After doing some testing, I found a bug, that you can't change quest or quest objectives by pressing the right stick on the controller, because I mapped this button to the walking. So I returned everything back, when you have to hold the button to activate walking.

This is it, I won't edit it any further.
