I'm on my first playthrough and hoping to reset the quest Extreme Cosplay somehow using the debug console (or any other means).
I started the quest a while ago (many hours of gameplay ago) but left the area before completing the "Use your Witcher Senses to follow the smell of burning." objective.
I knew about the extremely hard fight against elven mages that was upcoming but did not feel like taking them on at the time, so left the area to come back later.
At the time I did not realise leaving would prevent me from continuing the quest later: the quest is currently still active for me but when I return to the Doren Alma Estate the door is locked with a poster on it. Upon reading the poster the quest fails. (Attached some screenshots)
There is a thread on this very topic where some users claim to have achieved resetting the quest, but the posts are scant on details and lack any real explanation of how to do it (bare in mind I have zero experience modding saves):

I was wondering if there's anyone with modding expertise out there who knows how I might reset this quest. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
If it helps, I found a list of "facts" associated with TW3 quests:
I've pasted the relevant facts for Extreme Cosplay below. I did some trial and error with addfact() and removefact() in the debug console but nothing seemed to work or change anything for that matter, which leads me to believe I might have to edit my save directly (no idea how to do that).

I'm trying to reset the Extreme Cosplay quest (found it when I was low level, tried to come back, failed the quest). I've looked around and figured out that you can use the add and remove fact commands in console to reset quests, but I don't know how to find what specifically needs done for each...
