ResetEra: Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer will be monetized and a Games as a Service game

No way do you make some huge game like this, make it have online, and not monetize the hell out of it. They already said they want to be like Rockstar over and over and that is exactly what GTA online is, a casino pretty much.

You can't really blame CDPR; games are too expensive nowadays and if whales do spend money nonstop on these GaaS games, then yea, monetize the hell out of it. I just can't wait to see how their PR tries to spin this because there will be true outrage when its revealed its a live service game like gta online.
