Reviewer's copy. Who should be the lucky ones?

+
One to Total Biscuit please. He's mostly objective and I'm very interested in his opinion on The Witcher 3. And one to Conan O'Brien from Clueless Gamer, I am pretty sure he'll like it :D
Angry Joe ... well, I like him, he's a nice guy most of the time, however all his reviews are full of spoilers and he's undeniably subjective. Also, he gave Dragon Age Inquisition a 9/10 which is the same he gave Origins. That's a sin! ;) But honestly: It really tells a lot about what he wants/expects from a modern roleplaying game ...

Everyone CDPR wants to give one. Simple. ;)

One of the problems with reviews for Witcher 3 might again be that they probably willy only send review copies for the consoles out early. The console versions are very likely "ready" now (and in review process at MS and Sony) while the PC version is still optimized, probably until the very last day. So I fear that we won't see reviews of the PC version at release...

I highly doubt they'd do that, given the delay, and quite frankly that's not a friendly business move either.

OT: Gamebanshee has some of the most exhaustive reviews I've read. Those guys take their job very seriously, so I recommend them. Eli brings up a good point about the time required. For an RPG I'd want a good 3-4 weeks personally, to play it and write up a review. It's an unfortunate reality of the industry that reviewers are frequently given tight deadlines for this, which helps no one. Kevin Van Ord, TB and Daniel Bloodworth over at Gametrailers are also good.

1) Kevin van Ord from Gamespot, he is big rpg fan and have read books, so I feel he will be most qualified for the job :)
2) Totalbiscuit - good reviews, always spoiler free,
3) Angry Joe is fun, but he tends to spoil things..

I'm curious about any kind of press/media.
And there are any particular writer you follow in Eurogamer?
Or you like the editorial line in general?
Just in general. I feel they give very fair and well written reviews and they don't seem to be stuck in that 7-9.5 out of 10 score grade hole that many other outlets like to stick themselves in. Just a personal preference. :)

I believe that CDPR will throw reviewers copies left and right so they can get as much attention possible(youtubers, maybe even twitch streamers, gaming websites). At least this is the way their marketing department is going.

Van Oord from Gamespot.

So far he's the only one who seems to have approached this game from a professional fan point.

I just enjoy hearing him talk about the game.

Totalbiscuit can't and won't cover Witcher 3. He's Starcraft team Axiom is sponsored by GoG and therefore it's a conflict of interest (since GoG is a sister company to CD RED). Has himself stated, that he won't cover it.
Where did he state that? Just out of curiosity.

As been said already, would be nice for Angry Joe but he spoils quite a lot so I ain't gonna watch his video for some time sadly...

(I know it's cheating, but I'm okay with cheating... In videogames, not real life... just to be clear.)
Me, I should receive a reviewers copy.

Why?
I don't have any credentials, I don't have a youtube channel/blog/website of note, I am a CDPR fan (not the zealous kind, but just a fan.) and I don't have any reviewing experience what so ever... Not convinced? I don't blame you, how about for some of the +++?

I followed the game very closely (like many others here on the forums so I know what to expect from CDPR and the game (Not unlike some 'journalists who have to ask who is Jennefer and Ciri and when we can have sex with them...), I am a bit biased (as I mentioned, I'm a fan.) but not that kind of biased that gives me money for a good review. (So basically I am forgiving of the game but not blind to it's flaws.)

Still not convinced? Well, I tried.
If you are:

Vote JackalJ for President... ahem... Reviewer.

On a more serious note, I suggest:
TB, altough I doubt he has the time to review a huge game like this... Also the reason why he hasn't touched Dragon Age: Inq.
Jesse Cox, Jesse is a huge witcher fan and knows a bit about the world so he would be a logical choice.

Imho, nobody else springs to mind that I want to see.

He talked about that on Twitter, when he explained why he will not cover The Witcher Adventure Game. However, I'm sure that he will say what he think about the game during podcast.

Originally it was revolving "Witcher adventure game" and seeing how that wasn't even the "bread and butter" game from CD RED the likelihood of him covering any Witcher game is pretty much zero.

It's been further discussed on reddit (Source: http://www.reddit.com/r/Cynicalbrit...t_cover_witcher3_due_to_conflict_of_interest/ & http://www.reddit.com/r/Cynicalbrit/comments/2nl4uc/tb_will_not_cover_witcher_adventure_game_due_to/ )

He will of course still play the game and form an opinion about it, but it won't be covered in a WTF but more likely just general talk as in pod casts and such.

TB normally states that his opinion on a game could be biased right at the start of a video, it wouldn't be the first time either, he has done it before on games were he was involved with.

Wait, did Angry Joe ever release reviews before the games were already out?

He did get some early copies but the thing is that he actually takes time to really experience the game before reviewing it, maybe does some streams or impressions while playing
