RIP Satoru Iwata, game designer and CEO

Nintendo's CEO Satoru Iwata suddenly passed away today. He was 55 years old. Say what you want about Iwata as a business man, but you can't deny this man loved games.

Many don't know this, but Mr. Iwata started out at Nintendo as a programmer and worked on many popular games including Earthbound, Kirby, and Super Smash Bros Melee. At one point he considered himself the best programmer in the world.

Sad news.

I didn't understand which was its health issue.

I read he had a "growth" removed.
This mean he had some kind of cancer?
