Rogue AI DLC teased for Patch 1.3?! [General patch speculations]

Just checking in today and there's a new testing branch created just 8 hours ago.

So perhaps 1.3 is going to be coming out this month and likely some DLC could be coming up considering 1.2 was last promised patch before "DLC" in their road map.

Could it be coming out this week? There was previous update 2 days ago in testing branch before. I still think it would be more likely in end of month or 2nd week of August but who knows .

If you are right, this would be good news, they are finally getting out of this "crisis". However, as I'm playing on PS5, I'd rather see fixes and performances improvments (and even next-gen patch) before any DLCs (I know PC player have fewer performances or bug issues).

PC users have also been waiting a very long time for the promised DLC so CDPR could fix the play station version. I am not blaming PS users I am just saying it feels like it should be our turn now for some love.

Yeah I know PC players have been waiting so long for something new in the game. I have a PC but it is not powerful enough to run CP2077 unfortunately.
They have so much work to do for both PC and console. I hope they'll succeed to satisfy everyone

Just out of curiosity, what is your PC specs? I ran the game GREAT (full population and med to high graphics, but turned off all the silly stuff like motion blur and eye bloom) on a win 7 PC with a GTX 970 card. 16 RAM. 4 GHz I7 processer.

I just upgraded to win 10 last month and now I get all kinds of visual/physics glitching. I am not sure if it is a combination of the WIN 10 and the new patches or just WIN 10. But I had 150 hours of great game BEFORE the win 10 "upgrade" on my modest PC.

I don't think they should be dropping any DLC's until the game is fully patched and fixed properly on ALL platforms, esp. base consoles.

Could be fake video since it's only recycling old footage.


Also there's some fixes probably that are outside of the game in form of DLSS 2.2 update.

The newer version would likely fix the weird blurry images (called "TAA Ghosting") when moving fast, like having the back of the car reflected multiple times when things move in screen really fast.

Nice way to put it, but, well, to be very clear to taiwanluthiers, they mean A - Rogue - AI, as in free roaming AI "personality" not under Human control.

Rogue also has meanings like: "living apart from the herd and having savage or destructive tendencies."
could also imply dishonest and selfish goals.

So basically an agent of chaos which is separate from the civilized world who attempts to use dishonest means for power (like election rigging).

If in fact, the entity behind Mr Blue Eyes is a "rogue AI" in it's intended meaning... we're gonna be fucked if it manages to get power.

I briefly mentioned how there is Cyberpsychosis background as well, which could be linked to rogue AI...

but there was one additional background I didn't mention, which was this

Background name is called "Consumerism" where there's a rain of pills created by different corporations. I assume these would be pills made to pacify the public through addicting them into these products which have chemicals to alter thinking, or maybe they contain small nanobots that are able to get into brain and hack them. Or maybe it's just very addictive product that gives a lot of money and thus power to the manufacturer.

This could be linked to the rogue AI if we are to assume that AI has gained power in secret and is using humans to sell these products as authentic. Maybe the AI has hacked the vitamin production and replaced some chemicals making humans easier to control with chemical addiction.

In the ending credits if you've told Peralez about your worries, he becomes paranoid and puts his vitamin pills to test, but then refuses to trust doctors when they don't find anything strange. Could he be actually onto something there?

This is the only time in game where someone mentions vitamins or pills, as far as I'm aware... maybe some shards might briefly bring them up in some conversations but haven't had time to figure that one out.

Oh, I5 processor, yeah now I see why you said your PC was not up to it. Sorry man...
It will not be too long before my PC will not "be up to it" for new games. But buying a new PC these days is out of the question with the issue the world is in with processor chips right now.

And the prices I see theses days scare me, the best gaming rig I ever owned (for its time period) was less than $1100. I could run Crysis on it with med to high settings! Today that is the LOW END of gaming rigs.

I only upgraded to 10 to play todays games. DEV theses days expect you to promptly upgrade your OS now or you do not get to play their game.
I just read that win 11 will require the TMP chip, and that is only on PC made in the last few years.

No confirmation or denial, however he paused during the question, repeated sentences, also his lower lip seem to have gone dry.

So maybe this came close to the right answer and he got little panicky not to reveal any major spoilers.

What seems more certain is that there's work done for the story arch of Mr Blue Eyes and his group.

In specific ending you're given task to invade Crystal Palace but before that there's a mention of the Casino, which was cut content from the release.

As an added bonus new build is created in 46 minutes ago.

Last build before that was on Wednesday and previously they updated 2-3 days prior, so this seems like multiple changes being slowly implemented into a new testing branch.

Still unsure if there's hope for 1.3 to be released for this month (I've been wrong before) but they usually don't take this short time to make updates.
This could be a full team effort (where 60%+ are working for new content and 30-40% are still bug fixes or performance increases) considering the pace of these changes without actual release. Seems larger than just 1.24.

Not sure about dlc release or content,but 99% sure that the casino reference is because its your target at Crystal Palace (steal a list of customers if my aging memory is not failing).
