Well Warcraft 3 is a RTS, Guild Wars,WoW and Warhammer online are MMORPG(and I dont consider them as real RPG's), Elveon has yet to be released and FF series....PoP is a great game but not a RPG.@ Assassin's Creed is a great game indeed but fails to deliver what it has promised and it gets repetitive,is not how it suposed to be.But still is good.

Warcraft III, Frozen Throne and Warhammer Mark of Chaos are RTS with RPG elements but they still are RTSi won´t add any MMORPG since the plots are nearly non existent and that´s the main focus of RPG, the Plot also monthly pay as with WoW is rip off imoFF series .... meh.... the asians tend to overdue their RPGs and thus making them more a laugh fest then a serious attempt of an RPG imo

GW's is a MMORPG, it has several plots and is free to play online. ;)

Elder Scrolls and its Morrowind - where just I moved for two months while my leg was brokenDiablo II and (do someone remember?) first part - my beginnings... not many quests but this climate, and me so young... :'(SpellforceDivine Divinity - nothing new but cute and cheap ;)Baldurs Gateand now The Witcher of course

Well in this case you should better add Spellforce The Order of Dawn and its addons and Spellforce 2 Shadow Wars and Dragon Storm, which are the kings of RTS/RPGIn SF there are much more RPG elements than in Warcraft

i never played SF so i can´t comment on that
Well in this case I strongly suggest you play it :beer:Because I'm not talking by myself when I say that SF is the king of RTS/RPG.While Warcraft is an RTS with some RPG elements SF is a new genre.SF is a RTS/RPG, SF practically invented this genre and set the standards in RTS/RPG.And if you want to play it I suggest you start with the first one :The Order of Dawn

As this is a worth playing list it's probably suitable to include some older ones as well. The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall - this is still my top RPG of all time. Arena, the first one, isn't as noteworthy. "Open ended gameplay in the largest virtual world imaginable"Lands of Lore - same team as Eye of the Beholder I and II, but even better game. CD version even has Patrick Stewart!Lands of Lore 2 - 3d! Amazing atmosphere and story. And a not so old one:puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. Classic/simple RPG with fun puzzle based mechanic in place of dice rolls.

If you agree, lets post some video for the proposed games:Overlord:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cxIKPbQWf4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6qUM1hDQt0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo85PgTybEk&feature=relatedDeus Ex Invisible War:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVZB5CJSHjMhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yvjscaOenM&feature=relatedDeus Ex:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOGStWQqXGc&feature=relatedFable The Lost Chaptershttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asPRzzPi8nYhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mt6P8UJqaQc&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5a7jr7PPYg

Hmm...some older ones from the 90's, not very graphically impressive compared to today but fun none the less* Gabriel Knight trilogy (Sins of the father, Beast within, Blood of the Sacred Blood of the Damned)* Star Control 2 - The Ur-Quan masters (and Star Control 3 never existed okay!)* Inherit the Earth (Yes a furry kids game, but still a fun little RPG)* Monkey Island (go Murray!)Will have to check the old CD/disk archive when I get a chance for more...

I HATE Mokney Island !!!!!! *runs away screaming* :-XMonkey Island is a pure adventure and no RPG Fable has been added

Hmmm, maybe...but IMHO any of the Diablo's would be eliminated as well by the same criteria, ditto Dark Messiah, probably dungeon siege and VTM:RedemptionThe problem seems to be that the lines between adventure and RPG have blurred a lot - no thanks to advertsing. They sometimes pass off Lara Croft as a rpg :pSo what defines a rpg?Power ups? (then Mario and Sonic could be classed as one)Selectable skills? (forget longest journey then)Selectable characters? (the Witcher isn't one then, ditto Gothic)What?I know this has been debated on endless forums over endless hours and no one really ever agrees. But for the purposes of the list what is the line between 'adventure' and 'rpg'

Diablo is just a hack´n´slay with the chance to evolve your characterand here we have the main difference from Adventure to RPGthe development of the character, may it be by skills/equipment, it´s appearance or selectable charactersthe chance to form your character to a "creature" that you can identify with
