We can be sure they are not going to release the game this year. They probably plan to release it in 2019. And now when you add some delay to that... That's 2020.Snowflakez;n10923527 said:And 2020 would be a ridiculously long development cycle.

Well, actually, we can't be sure they aren't releasing this year. We also can't be sure there will be a delay, nor that that delay will be a full year (or even 6 months).Ravn7;n10923695 said:We can be sure they are not going to release the game this year. It looks like you're afraid to lose that bet.Snowflakez;n10923710 said:Well, actually, we can't be sure they aren't releasing this year. We also can't be sure there will be a delay, nor that that delay will be a full year (or even 6 months).
We don't know anything, other than they will probably show the game at E3 this year. All we can do is make educated guesses based on what they've said in the past regarding future marketing strategies, and those are subject to change.

On a YouTube channel called E3 Games a teaser trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 was uploaded. Many think it is fake but something weird has happened. Two out of the three news articles that have reported the trailer have shut down. A Reddit topic disscusing the trailer has been removed. WTF is happening. Are CDPR hiding something? is this trailer legit? or are they trying to get rid of fake media?
Has anybody got any theories on what's going on?
This is what I was worried about. I'm almost certain this is going to pop up on Reddit and get everybody riled up.Snowflakez;n10924634 said:Thought I'd get ahead of this article: https://www.futuregamereleases.com/c...018-confirmed/
This just popped up in my Google Alerts. It's complete and utter BS, and not confirmation. If anyone sees this, ignore it and, to Lis, try to avoid posting it on Reddit. Never heard of Future Game Releases before, but any "outlet" -- no matter how small -- shouldn't be spreading clickbaity misinformation like this.
I'm sure the writers are great folks and all, but still.
Yep. I'm glad they're taking them down. It's annoying to see how fast misinformation spreads, but at least they're mitigating the damage.Sneky;n10924736 said:I watched that "new trailer", its 2013 cgi trailer and title reveal teaser edited and cut differently with added text at the end "Reveal trailer - See you at E3 2018" there is 0 new footage there. Its low effort fake, and it still made pretty big buzz around the internet. CDPR is deleting it because even obvious fake like this can get out of hand easily with people believing its official.

Now here's someone I didn't see for quite some time.Marcin_Momot;n10924958 said::cheers:
Here, not gonna lie, the teaser live-action trailer was a bit cheesy but this looks really really good. I love the new direction they're taking with this one.Lisbeth_Salander;n10925285 said:Cyberpunk 2077 better be good to compete with games like Rage 2:
Well a) Not likely to be a problem because that's an action-shooter looking about as deep as a Frisbee andLisbeth_Salander;n10925285 said:Cyberpunk 2077 better be good to compete with games like Rage 2:
