After playing for almost 7 hours today, I've started to realize all the little and some of the big issues that are still in the game. From frame drops to NPCs not loading in, there is a lot that still needs to be done by CDPR to make Cyberpunk the game they promised us 8 years ago. Don't get me wrong I'm super pumped the game was released finally and I'm impressed by everything they achieved in the massive project that is Cyberpunk 2077, I just want to create an open discussion to bring the issues we as a community are experiencing to light.
The biggest issue I've run into is loading issues when inside a vehicle, whether I want to switch cameras, change the radio station or open a message while driving the game becomes unresponsive for about 5 to 7 seconds before acting upon every frantic button press seemingly at once causing absolute havoc in Night City.
NPCs not spawning organically is something I picked up upon about 4 hours in the game. It was amusing at first but became frustrating after a while.
I experienced my first game crash at the end of my 7-hour game session, I engaged in some conflict with a group of gang members on the outskirts of NC, after blasting some baddies and going all John Wick on them, the game crashed on me while collecting my loot.
I'm going to give Cyberpunk a bit of a breather, for the time being, I love the story and I looked past the little bugs in favor of an otherwise amazing title, I don't want to end up rushing the story because of the bugs.
