Save importing issue, please explain

• There will be TW1’s save importing. It will cause your money, swords and abilities carried to TW2. Also decisions made in TW1 will somehow affect TW2’s story.

A quote from the FAQ. So.. won't this imbalance the game? I mean starting with a moonblade would either mean that the weapon is intentionally inferior, and thus ruining its reputation and value, OR making it as strong as it was and thus removing the need to replace it for a long time while sweeping through the beginning.Money as well. In almost every RPG money is an issue at the very start, how fair do you think it would be if you start out with thousands of ores and secure yourself for the rest of the game from the very prologue? And finally, skills. This one is the most puzzling. Since you've completely re-done the skill system, how exactly will the skills transfer, especially since there is no "class direction" in TW1. Will it mean you start on higher level? Or limit you to be a specific class from the start?I wish someone would explain this.

We also want to know if we can import saves that use mod’s or just clean saves.

perhaps the money will be unlockable through a bank at a certain part of the game or maybe dandilion has keeping it safe. as for the weapons they will probably be slightly better then a default starter weapon sadly.

I really don't know how Reds want to balance this whole save importing, I just wrote in the FAQ what I was told. One thing I know is that if you don't important any saves, game will start on "default settings" - I understand this as making an imported characted as strong as non-imported, but the imported one is just a personalised one. But I don't know will it work that way.If we are talking about abilities & decisions importing - of course only some of them will be imported.

i say thats normal thats peolple who buy and play tw1 have a avantage to people who dont play it but its had to be balance as i think of it =- beginning with alchymy recipe you discover in the first ( it s normal geralt had not relost is memory)e- beginning with connection to caracter who save , discover and kill to have help if they exist in tw2 ( knwo the backgroud of them)- beginning with the crow armor if you discover it it's long quest to finish and reward the people who finish it - not beginning with ultimate weapon if you had them (the silver sword Moonbladethat has +100 damage, or the steel sword Mahakaman Rune Sihill that has +100%damage and penetrates opponent armor) because that its cheat beginng with the normal silver blade of witcher and normal blade- and beginning with a bit of your money ( 25 % or 50 % max)i don t say anything about talents because i dont know)about them in tw2( but if you discover any of them in the 1 of his in the 2)
