Save thumbnail

I've recently reinstalled system's OS and TW2. updated the game to 3.2 Chinese and now this strange problem that I've never encountered before.
manual saves and those auto saves which should have a screen shot thumbnail, don't have any ! auto saves which uses a default thumbnail are fine.
apparently the game won't create a bmp file in the above circumstances and the game is not a steam one of course.

it really pains me a lot, any advice ?

You might try deleting the Witcher 2 folder (back it up first) Then restart the game and let it recreate the Witcher 2 folder and inside the witcher 2 folder create a folder and name it gamesaves then copy and paste an autosave with pic in the gamesaves folder then start the game and load the autosave and then make a manual save.

I did as you said but the problem still persist.
I tried copying one of my old save, and after loading that, every save works fine. but if I start a new game, again . . .

Maybe the root of error lies in patch 3.2 new game saves ?!!
because my older save files are from may 2012. all before the release of 3.2

Edit: or may be this happens only in prologue.

It seems that the problem is solved.
fixing some issues regarding Microsoft .Net Framework and increasing system's virtual memory helped. the first solution made the problem to be random and then the second one fix it completely. at least until now />/>
