If it can't be fixed I would like a refund on the game and the dlc I can't be asked to start all over again this happened to me before aint doing it again iv had enough
m just saying that if Starfield or Skyrim had a game overhaul like cyberpunk I bet your 200 hours character would be gone as well. I beat everything on Skyrim back in the Xbox 360 days and guess what I couldn't load that character for more than ten minutes without a permanent freezing on screen. Save bloat is real. Start new character. If it can't be fixed I would like a refund on the game and the dlc I can't be asked to start all over again this happened to me before aint doing it again iv had enough now
I understand loss I lost my dog this year that hurts. Losing a character in a videogame like this is par for the course. I've lost many Skyrim fallout characters I didn't cry over any of them. I did however cry when my dog died. That sh is sad boy. Real sad. So make a new corpo or nomad or street kid and get in with the dlc. This game isn't hard to play and if you rush to gigs and hustles you can level up pretty fast. Like I said my new V is from 2.0 and she is level 44. I agree this is bad trust me I feel your pain but it's something that happens with gaming. Period. If it can't be fixed I would like a refund on the game and the dlc I can't be asked to start all over again this happened to me before aint doing it again iv had enough
Until Patch 2.01 is released, no one can say for certain our corrupted saves won't be recoverable. Who knows, one of the reasons it's taking so long to get fixed is they are trying to recover damaged saves. If they do, they will articfically look like heroes after saying they couldn't. We just have to wait and see.I remember that the PS4 had the same issue back in the very beginning, they fixed that too (the corrupted saves) as far as I remember![]()
The warn to start the character over again is not a warn at all. They did warn you they clearly told you to start your character over again.![]()
I like how seriously your taking my comment. Oh also the warn is not a warn... okay got it.The warn to start the character over again is not a warn at all.
This has nothing to do with the possibility of damaging your saves and losing all your progress.
This advice only applied to significant changes in gameplay, skills, and cyberimplants. It suggested that after such substantial changes in the game, it would be better to start a new game to experience all the innovations and be less disoriented.
You’re right, we’ll just have to wait and see. Kinda hoping you are also right about the “they are trying to recover damaged saves” and them managing to do soUntil Patch 2.01 is released, no one can say for certain our corrupted saves won't be recoverable. Well I have to ask you did you start fresh with 2.0 or is this an old save file from previous patch?

Be more specific. Did you start fresh new character and try to play the dlc? Maybe try that first then tell me if you have corruption. I and many others think it's the old save games having the issue. Id like to know that but there's no way of knowing but to test it out on a new character. I know that sucks. Believe me.
No offense seriously but your speaking in riddles. It's real simple did you start a new character after 2.0 or was your character a 1.65 character save? Id like to know if anyone on a new character is having this save breaking issue.I never ready any forums or news when I buy games, never had to before what happened to me now, because usually when I buy games, whether it's new ones or DLC packs, they well, just work as intended.
I pre-ordered Phantom Liberty when I could, and I started playing the 1st day after I installed it. I just continued as the game started, which was my most recent save thus far (platinumed the original game). I started playing and the DLC storyline commenced.
I continued the game from where I left of when I finished playing the original version. I did not create any new character. No offense seriously but your speaking in riddles. It's not certain that with a new character the problem won't occur... they have to solve the problem and quickly... on the PS5 with a V at level 50 I managed to play until the "firestarter" mission then the problems started, with that character as long as you stay out of Dogtown and his activities everything works fine, so I think the problem is Phantom Liberty!I like how seriously your taking my comment. Oh also the warn is not a warn... okay got it.
No it wasnt. All broken saves are ppl starting expansion with their old chars. There was already information that the problem also appears on the new character

Yes it was, so you're wrong! The corrupted save files are NOT only a PS5 issue! I'm on PC (i5 13400F, RTX 4070, 32 GB RAM, SSD) with a new playthrough started after 2.0 and my save files get corrupted when I see or loot air drops! I tested this out with an somehow empty air drop on top of a building near the entrance to Longshore Stacks and another air drop near the basketball court for Lucretia My Reflection (containing the Revulsor cyberware). If I see the one going down near Longshore Stacks, my files get corrupted. If I loot the one near the basketball court, my files get corrupted.
Well then why don't they just increase the save files size? So stupid. How can you sell a game that is unplayable? If I cannot 100% a game trophy wise cause my save file will break then that is a broken product period. The only reason it's not happening to people with new characters is probably because they haven't done enough yet. It's only a matter of time before somone on a new character does enough, buys enough and upgrades enough to make the save file bloat. Theoretically this could happen to everyone on PS5 eventually. If it is down to the save file size. My big worry is if the game starts to run worse and worse the bigger the save gets like Skyrim did on PS3.
Yeah I agree. I until they fix this trash heap it should be refunded to everyone automatically. Period. It's not right. I'm not buying games from this company again. They keep doing this to us over and over time to vote with your wallets. As for me I won't ever give them my hard earned money again if they don't wise up it's getting real old.CDPR Please issue a full refund of Phantom Liberty to us PS5 players who are unable to play this game. Your vagueness about an update being 'soon' to fix this broken junk of a game is ridiculous.
