Saving and opening of area files

I just started working with the D'jinni adventure editor a week ago. Due to the fact that I do not work alone I've got one question of substance.I worked out a new area (a normal house... mesh g05) and I want my partner to save this area in his module. I tried to extract the module but no area file there and I tried to "File -> Save a copy", but there's no file in the "The Witcher/Data" folder.Hope you can help me. ;)Blizx

i can't help you, i can only tell you that we simply hand what we consider "the master module" back and forth to each other on my teamIf this sort of export is possible, i'd *love* to know about it as well :)

Ok, first I should say that I have no knowledge of that topic, but...and that may interest you all:In the global properties of D'jinni there is a path named something like "turtoise", I know it is for team-working (maybe to share things over this path), but I don't know how it works. I'm not sure, but maybe Red Flame Team is working with this "turtoise-path" or something else, so why don't you write a PM to Vaernus and ask him about how their team is doing this.It would also be a good Idea to post a answer (if you get one) somewhere in the Wiki for all people who want to build teams and have the same problems.

Edith: hmm... SVN server does only work for merging text documents and not for such complex files like .adv modules.Anyone got an idea or is using another kind of method for merging your files?

Tortoise is just a (good) Windows CVS client. The problem with D'Jinni is that it packs modules up into a binary, and that binary is pretty inscrutable to CVS. What we need to be able to do is to find out how to manage the unpacked files of the module, and that I haven't yet worked out. SVN is simply a more modern replacement for CVS - so it won't work unless we can find out hot to manage the unpacked files either.Any hints greatly appreciated because being able to use CVS would save us lots of time.
