Scent trail issues (& colour blindness in general)
Thank you CDPR for adding colour blind options, you're the best!
Note: Colour blind options can be enabled via the Options -> Gameplay submenu.
Original post was as below:
Dear CDPR,
As a colour blind gamer (mainly red-green - I have moderate protanomaly), there are various points in the game that it's near impossible for me to do anything other than run about with the Witcher senses activated hoping that I'll just pick up the next part of the quest.
The main issue I have is during the quests where you're supposed to follow the scent trails - often these will need to be followed over grass etc, and with the witcher senses activated the colour of the gress and scent trail just merge into one at times making it impossible for me to follow where it's going.
Would it be possible for you to look into potentially including colour blind options for the game?
Even just giving the option to make the scent trails say, black for example would likely fix the main issues I have with the game.
Alternatively, making the scent trails show up on the minimap so you can follow them that way might be another way of doing things.
Thanks for reading, and for making the best game I've played.
All the best,
MrBMT
