scoia7 without helmet

scoia7 without helmet

I like to add the scoia7 appearance without a helmet like in the adventure The wedding to my module. The problem is, that I can just do this by replacing the cr_scoia7_h1.dds and cr_scoia7_h1_n.ddr texture. But then the scoia7 appearance with a helmet does not exist any more. So can someone tell me how I can achieve to get both into my module?

You have to add a new entry in appearance.2da. Copy existing scoia7 entry and just change head version, head special texture and name(column LABEL). Head version and head special texture must have the same number as in name of texure(cr_scoia7_h1, h1_n, g1, g1_n).

It looks like head special texture does not effect this appearance. Scoia7 has the h1 textures anyway.

Yes, it has, so you should change this number to keep original scoia7 in your mod. In The Wedding we didn't change it, because we didn't need scoia with helmet. And besides cr_scoia7_h1(_n) you also need cr_scoia7_g1(_n). Look into The Wedding.

I do not really understand what you mean. Every dwarf head uses the same, h1. In the wedding the h1 texture is just replaced. So every scoia7 has no helmet. If you mean with number the apprance.2da's head special texture, it is changed in the wedding from _n:_a to 1. But 1 does not effect anything.

Files with letter "c" are responsible for body, with "h" for head and when my graphic designer gave me files with "g" letter I thought that I have to change head special texture, because it fits ;p But maybe they are connected to sth else.Try sth like this. I hope it will work, if not, then I have no idea, what else we can do.file: appearance.2dacolumn:- LABEL: cr_scoia7_c1g6- BODY_VERSION: 1- HEAD_VERSION: 6- HEAD_SPECIAL_TEXTURES: 6file: - cr_scoia7_h1 - change on cr_scoia7_h6- cr_scoia7_h1_n change on cr_scoia7_h6_n- cr_scoia7_g1 change on cr_scoia7_g6- cr_scoia7_g1_n change on cr_scoia7_g6_nIn character template as appearance choose cr_scoia7_c1g6

That will not work. I already tried this. Whatever you type in head special texture, scoia7 is somehow adjunct to h1.
