Screen Res 5:4, UI cropped to widescreen aspect ratio?
I'm using an older Benq monitor with a 5:4 resolution (1280x1024) and was first very surprised and happy that CDProjekt Red decided to optimize for those viewports, too
No black borders, no horrible to use UI, it was great to look at and use.
During a surprise attack by bandits that were +5 levels above me, I somehow managed to hit a strange combination of buttons (which I don't know what I pressed) and now I have the following problem:
My screen resolution is still the same, but when I'm...
a) changing my spells through TAB, the screen doesn't go all faded in the background but leaves about 1,5cm of unblurred gameplay on the top and bottom
b) User menu (inventory, map, etc) all are now cropped to widescreen with black bars
c) Under settings/video you can change the viewport but it is already set to max and thinks I'm using a 16:9 aspect ratio
d) The game now always starts in borderless windowed mode, setting it to fullscreen won't stay till the next launch.
I like my Monitor and would like to play like before, any clues on how to tackle this? Please?
A few more info's to the system:
Windows 7, using the Witcher bought @ GOG.com, input is Mouse & Keyboard only.
