If Yennefer returns from the deaths as well... it's getting a bit ridiculous and implausible. But maybe she lives in an other dimension, the same parallel universe where Geralt raised from. Maybe she finds a supernatural way to contact Geralt in our world but can't come. And Geralt can't get back to her... oh, what heartbreaking story. One of the main missions in TW2 are Geralt's investigations why he has returned from the deaths and who made it possible. I'm very curious what he finds out.

Doesn't everyone live in an alternate universe at least part of the time? I'm a full time member. LOL

Well, it's not that simple... Both for Geralt and Yen. The poetic way Sapkowski described their last moments leaves A LOT of room for interpretations.

Okthat sounds a bit better, thanks for the info :)Just can't wait for those damned translations to be done so that I can take the book as soon as it is over ;)

Yes nobody knows for sure whether Geralt and Yennefer died. We are waiting for the release of "Der Schwalbenturm" (Wieża Jaskółki) this summer to continue the saga. Yen and Geralt leave in the last volume and no-one knows about there whereabouts nor if they still alive - they are gone. I don't know more details and I don't wanna know until I have the book. For the time being I live with the uncertainty and vague details ;-)

Thanks for the info Petra :)very welcomed :)Do not tell me more I do not wish to spoil reading at least once they translate second book with ciriAnd thanks a lot for the info that sequel will be available soon :)I went on the official web site of Sapkowski but everything is on Polish or Russian so I was unable to understand it correctly. It is pity that his site do not have English version or Serbian (one more Slavic language ;))

Can we also bring Abigail for a nude swim? Triss can stay home and practice her magic.Red roses and girls, I can see you are asking for trouble.

They should put you on the writing team!

YES!!!!I was really, really, REALLY disappointed, at the end of TW1, to discover that we weren't going to find out any of the answers to the essential questions of who raised Geralt from the dead, why did they do so, and what happened to his memory in the process*. Only the fact that TW1 is so very, very good kept these unanswered questions from being a game-breaker for me.*Yes, I know that The King of the Wild Hunt claims to be involved. But everything else he says to Geralt during that last conversation is a lie -- Geralt didn't go around causing trouble and ruining everything he touched -- so there's no reason to believe him in this, either. Given that we see Geralt running at the beginning of the game -- possibly from the Wild Hunt -- I wonder if he could possibly have escaped from the Land of the Dead all by himself, and that's why they were chasing him. That would be pretty cool. :) It's probably the sorceresses, though.

I think one of the reasons the specifics of Geralt's return was not explored is that originally, the game was not supposed to feature Geralt at all, but a different, new witcher. It was only at some point into the production that they decided to make Geralt the main character.

Why would he be running away frım them? I thought he should be drooling if that's the Geralt in the books xD

He's not necessarily running from whoever raised him; he may be running from someone who's trying to stop whoever raised him from succeeding. But this is off-topic, so we should probably open a different thread for these speculations. :)

He was running from the Hunt, that's quite certain. Lambert says the witchers found Geralt thanks to Triss, who sensed the weird aura and told them to follow the Hunt.

Is it just me or does the change in Geralt's facial modeling look weird after spending so much time playing the first game. Its almost like your looking at a completely different character, its kind of taking me out of the scene and why did they change it? I know its a all new engine and all that, but could it have been that difficult to recreate his facial features from the first game? Math is math after all, isnt it?

With this scene that the cards can make a comeback, expect they should portray a captivating picture of the women instead on the nude picture. Although a nude picture was not a picture i would not look forward too.
