Which different weapons? There are swords and that's about it.
The 2nd let you use a shovel as a joke weapon.
i was kinda hoping for the same sorta pick up what you want type system.

Screenshot with Griffin and Geralt in new armor mirrored. Also cant understand how his swords holds on his back -is there one more belt i dont see from the back that goes to torso ? Also guys, we dont know if this is that Bears armor. Even that concepts can change during the game development. For me that armor looks just fine. And its has both protection from attacks and cold. And as i can note its just torso armor, because the gloves and trousers are still from the Wolf set.
On it's own it wouldn't but in the context of the 30 minute demo putting a bigger enphasis on combat would have wasted our time.In a demo made to show of pretty much everything in the game in one take you don't want to see a mob get wacked 30 times. That was my point. Not sure how a better prepared and more concentrated combat showing would waste our times, but maybe you are confused.
...and I'd be surprised if we won't get one.Trailers that handle individual features usually come out close to launch. To avoid that, for example, I would've wanted combat to be showed at normal or hard difficulty and in selected short scenes of footage all in a short trailer, maybe 2 mins.
But it's a great way of showing how all those mundane things intertwine with the stunning ones. That was the whole point of the trailer and why they did't give one part of the game more air time then another. An long uncut demo is just so limiting in terms of allowing you to filter the mundane or unremarkable looking things, from the stunning ones.
Yes,we've gone way off topic. But anyway the demo was not the subject here, just the screens, so enough with it.
Mhhmm "combat" shovel. The 2nd let you use a shovel as a joke weapon.

A quick and dirty hack to put the logo in lower right (where blurring and darker textures suit it's background requirements better) with the image the correct orientation. Note this breaks the house style for logo bottom left, which is why it was probably 'fixed' originally.
Watch Dogs is to blame for all this soap opera.Every little missplaced pixel or iffy lighting effect will automatically equate to a graphical downgrade for at least a couple more years.
Can you mirror all of them but the last one![]()
People are just wary of PR now in general. It's not just Watch_Dogs but that was a big one recently. After stuff like Aliens: Colonial marines, Watch Dogs, far cry 3, The PS3 reveal, etc. Bullshots and other general lies are becoming more common and people are wary of anything the devs or publisher shows. I'm not saying CDprojektRed is lying or anything mind you. I believe in them, but others are very cynical and wary after so many companies treat us like idiots and like we'll forget their marketing before the game was released.Watch Dogs is to blame for all this soap opera.Every little missplaced pixel or iffy lighting effect will automatically equate to a graphical downgrade for at least a couple more years.
No, not Watch_Dogs but a group of press and gamers who thought it was cool or worth it to evaluate every game on its tech alone and whether it offers 95% or 99% of graphical fidelity. Before the release of the next gen consoles almost nobody cared about that, really.

Horse poo.People have cared and made a big deal about graphics/tech since the 80's.With each paradigme shift the focus ended up on the same thing and the same disscusions came up everytime. In any case we're getting off topic again so we best continue this subject elsewhere. Before the release of the next gen consoles almost nobody cared about that, really.
Those are ludicrous statements.
But even if they were indeed true, I don't exactly run my gaming life as though it were designed by committee. Along with narrative and gameplay, graphics sits firmly at the top of my priorities. I make no apologies about it. I feel completely discharged from the seeming obligation to justify myself. And I don't retract from that stance, not half an inch and not under the vaporous pressure of those who seem to believe they're in the position to tell me what to like in videogames.
