Huh? Doesn't look like that at all.

The only difference in your first 2 examples is sharpening on/off. As for the last one, they look practically identical where Art Direction is concerned.

Outside of Geralt looking a bit overweight in the one forest picture the whole batch looks awesome, truly impressive :). Can't wait for the embargo to pass and hear some gamer/journalist opinions on what to expect come May :). Plus more pics and vids.

This. I hope I can turn sharpening on - I just can't get used to the new look. Still looks off to me, even though it looks a bit better while moving.

They seem to have made it more colorful (Which I like) if you compare

The new images just look more vibrant and less washed out.

It must be all the armor hes got on. Because with his shirt off the dude is packing a rig you could grate cheese on.

The bunched cloth around Geralt's neck is weird. But Bambi...Bambi is for fucking real.

I love it when concept art ideas make it into the game in some form. In that red armour screenie there's guys crossing over using a bunch of planks, granted they're not the same thing but it's what struck my mind as soon as I saw it

I like the new screenshots and graphics. But I wish the atmosphere was more darker, something like W1, as it fits more with the tone of the lore.

I haven't read the books but started reading Last Wish and I always picture the setting as being dark all the time, even in the day time.

I'm sure night time and rainy days look fine in W3.

That's an ages old 'medieval life' trope that paints everything as grum, drull, dark and shit not an actual representation of the world :p

Doesn't look anything like sirens. What are they doing flying in the air?

The only thing that I don't like about this image is the fact that the belt that goes across Geralt's chest which hold the scabbards in place is missing. I was quite fund of that in Witcher 2.

Yeah the belt thing annoys me too, what are his swords connected to in this case? The chainmail+leather armour(default set they've used for most footage/screens) has straps so that's entirely plausible, in this case I can't think of anything, not a major deal but I liked the huge strap in TW2 as well.
