season of draconid, can't stop skills being used multiple times

anyone having this issue? Say I'm using imperial formation skills form nifgaard or overwhelming hunger from monster.
steps:
1. I right click my character
2. click on the unit
3. I applied the skill into the unit
4. it applied it again and again, I can't stop it even when countdown ends

How do I apply the skill only 1 time? this is a bug I think

This happens with charged based leaders that require a target when the turn timer runs out of time. In order to prevent this happening you have to deselect the leader ability (right click on PC, not sure about mobile) prior to the turn timer running out of time. I've found in this mode that it is risky to use these type of leader abilities when the timer is low as you will nearly always end up using multiple charges
