Just a quick aside to illustrate how supremely dumb it is to leave only 500 players in Pro and kick reminder to the Rank 5 (5?! Still can't wrap my head around that rule).
On the seventh day of the new month long season some cca 20 days till the end, number of players who have played at least ONE match in Pro is 445. That means either 55 players didn't bother at all and no one managed to climb all the way to Pro or someone did manage to get into Pro and more than 55 didn't bother to play.
This would be alarming in the old system when you had to forsake the season rewards to compete in Pro, now it is ridiculous you literally have no reason to play elsewhere and plenty of reasons to play in Pro, best rewards, chance for a place in qualifications or even in tournament.
