Same issue here on PC patch 1.0.5. Unable to progress in such an important quest is frustrating.

Can confirm the jump from 1.04 to 1.05 breaks this event.

Played yesterday on 1.04 mission proceeded fine. Went back today for 'reasons' on 1.05 and it fails to place DumDum. Likely the only solution is to roll back versions. Easier said than done for some.

As a potential workaround try this: (note however, an earlier gamesave is required):

1) Load a gamesave before Calling Nancy during the previous quest "Holdin' On".
2) Fast Travel to All Foods.
3) Call Nancy and continue with the questline, see if Dum Dum is visible during the "Second Conflict" quest.

"rollback to 1.04" worked. It's an extra step, but it's worth a try.
Dum Dum showed up, we had a conversation, and we could go in the door!

This is a response from the support team and it worked for me

I've almost finished the game and decided to do Johnny's missions before I go in for the finale. Unfortunately, after I leave Kerry's and head for Totentanz, I go up in the elevator and turn the corner to the entrance but Dum Dum isn't there. The mission objective says "Talk to Dum Dum" but there's no mission marker. When I approach, Johnny says "This guy looks familiar" and V responds to something I can't hear. I'm guessing it's the Dum Dum that isn't there. I've tried reloading a few saves back. I've tried skipping time, doing other gigs and side missions but when I come back to Second Conflict, it no longer even has a marker. Is there any way to fix this? I don't want to start the whole game over again so I can kill Dum Dum.

I'm playing on PS5.

I found a way at the CDPR Support. You need to load a save in the mission Holdin' On before calling Nancy. Then go out the house and fast travel to All Foods (Plant). There you call Nancy and continue the mission. Now it should work. For me it worked at the first time after doing that.

Fix above with the fast travel to All Foods worked for me as well. Playing 1.05 on PC.

Same problem for me on PC. No Dum Dum, no mission progress. And there are some other missions linked to this. Looking forward to a solution.

I found a solution! BEFORE you call Nancy, fast travel to the All Foods and make sure the door is closed. Or if it is already closed and locked, then you can call Nancy. I did this, and Dum Dum was there! (

My last savepoint was 8 hours ago so I would have to repeat a lot of missions. Is there any other way of modyfing save so Dum Dum appears in Totenzas?

Unfortunately, not enough is known about the save file format yet to be able to do this.

This is a response from the support team and it worked for me

I can confirm this also works for me, seems to fix it so the game recognizes that Dum Dum is still alive.
