Secondary quest on St. Gregor bridge in Novigrad in last act (SPOILERS)

Hello,

I finished the game last night. I assassinated the king Radovid, then sided with Roche against Djikstra. Before the (almost) last quest when you go to kill Wild Hunt king I saw secondary quest question mark on the St. Gregor bridge in Novigrad - the bridge where assassination took place that connects Novigrad with Temple Island.

I run around the map to craft new gear for an hour determined to check the quest later. However I forgot about the exclamation mark and went to the last main story quests. When I finished them and had ability to free roam the game again, I went back to Novigrad but sadly the quest mark was gone.

Anyone know what quest I missed?

It may be that the quest is related to main story in a way and now is no longer available post main quest completion. Missed alot myself this way in the first play-through.

You didn't miss much really, in fact that quest can be triggered in various ways (finding a corpse on a ledge close to the Passiflora, encountering 2 Witch Hunters trying to kill a man, or in the bridge where a woman asks you for help on a haunted house). The haunted house is on that same bridge and uh oh... it's a trap from the witch hunters that want revenge for you killing Menge if I remmember correctly (I didn't let Triss get tortured while on Sigi Reuven's Treasure quest so it makes sensed that they found out after I killed like 20 witch hunters...). Anyway you kill the hunters and if you spare the woman you learn of a hidden chest and 3 keys that 3 different individuals have (the woman you just spared being one of them) and then you are off to find that chest. and that's it
