Series X Pixelated Visual Artifacting FSR 2.1 | DRS

If Xbox players consist of only 10% of the total playetbase, that's still 20× more people than the playerbase in the ps5 pro. Hell with the game being on gamepass now, we can safely assume that it would get at least 5 million new players on xbox. Increasing the percentage of users playing on xbox even more. But nah, they gotta upgrade the game for those 0.2% of players 💀
Sony has to justify charging. iver 1000 euros for that console
It has more to do with:

A.) From everything I know, the Xbox and Playstation teams are completely different.

B.) It's what's possible on the existing hardware. Has nothing to do with supporting this over that. PS5 Pro has a CPU and GPU that offer about 150% the performance of an XBX.

Brother, the game didn't even have this issue 😅
It got introduced with an update and they haven't fixed it since then. It's not even present on the less powerful base ps5 and they way less powerful switch 2.

I think it's time we stop trying go justify this kind of nonsense and blame it on hardware.

The base PS5 model has a weaker graphics card than the XSX and doesn't experience this issue. Only the Xbox version has the flickering issue. Hardware limitations have nothing to do with it. On PC, you can trigger this issue by enabling FSR and DRS. In that case, it looks the same and flickers just as much. Disabling DRS suddenly fixes the issue.

Such a simple fix yet they didn't bother. And people are finding excuses. I love cdpr. They made 2 of my favorite games, but this is pretty shady. It's not like we haven't made hundreds of reports and talk about it right in their garden. It's just not such a well known issue and the gamr is old. Therefore they can just sweep it under the rug with no backlash

Not sure what you're on about. The PS5 Pro received attention because it can do things hardware-wise that earlier consoles can't do. This has nothing to do with graphical issues or other bugs. The people that create new content are not the same people that handle QA. Production on different projects doesn't come to a stop because one platform has an unrelated issue.

Or:

Why would I expect house painters to stop and fix a plumbing issue? Two different teams.

For the customer, it's irrelevant whether there are two, three, or four teams. The problem has been known since the switch to FSR. But all we got was "we know about it." Not even "we unfortunately can't solve the problem because...". After the disastrous launch, a different approach would have been expected. The lead platform is NVIDIA on PC and, obviously, PlayStation on consoles. I don't think consumers should have to constantly be patient, especially since no further explanation was given.

Yes, they do.

General reminder that all comments are to remain both constructive and respectful. No hostility will be permitted.

Any discussion about the pixelation or flickering textures issues is welcome to continue. These issues have nothing to do with the PS5 Pro update.

Indirectly, yes, because the PS5 Pro is getting an update that doesn't fix anything but improves it, while the Xbox has been waiting for over a year for a fix to a well-known bug. The same discussion is taking place in the PC world regarding AMD vs. NVIDIA. [...]

this not getting ever fixed is just absurd...they even said multiple times they know this issue exists and never done anything to address this. wow.
